Today I want to share my first post about a battle for weekly challenge! Theme : HILL GIANT.

Hi blockchain gamers...

I found Splinterlands game to be one of the best games on the hive blockchain.
I became a Splinterlands game player.
I am currently playing in the Bronze III League.
As a new player, my rating is still very low.
I want to Share one of my battle. This battle is playing for the Weekly Challenge!. This is also my first post of sharing the weekly challenge battles.
This weekly challenge theme is HILL GIANT

"ABOUT HILL GIANT"

• THEME: HILL GIANT
• Edition: CHAOS LEGION
• Rarity: COMMON
• Element: EARTH
• Attack: MELEE
• Abilities: Staun

In the battle playing ,

• The battle rule is : Standard, Mana cost is 17 and we can use all type of summoners.

I choose the Earth Summoner
My lineup are as below.

Attacked by Earth Summoner, "OBSIDIAN"

• Reason for picking "OBSIDIAN", Her ability give to all friendly monsters have +1 Magic attacks.
  In this battle, I want to have more magic attack damage for my choosing monsters. So, I choose OBSIDIAN for this battle. It is suitable choice for using appropriate mana cost battles.

My Line Up are as below:-

• Position (1) MYCELIC MORPHOID: Mana 1, Speed 1, Melee attack 1, No Shield, lives 2. He is a good damage reducer.

• Position (2) HILL GIANT : Mana 3, Speed 1, Melee attack 1, Shield 0, lives 6. It is a good "mini-tanker". I choose him because of cheep mana cost.

• Position (3) KHMER PRINCESS : Mana 2, Speed 1, Magic Attack 1, No Shield and lives 2. I choose him as a back row magic attacker.

• Position (4) REGAL PERYTON : Mana 5, Speed 5, Magic attack 1, No Shield, lives 6. She is a Rare card of Earth Units. I like her "Flying" ability and has the chance of evading from some melee and range attacks.

• Position (5) XENITH ARCHER : Mana 2, Speed 1, Range attack 1, No Shield, lives 2. She is not a card of Earth Units, it is one of a Neutral Units. I use her as a range attack supporter for my back row team.

• In the battle play:-

My opponent team is face with me using Water Summoner. His tank is Strong tank with "Dodge" ability. His back row attackers are complex with Magic and tank heal supporters. His line up is a good line up.

In this 1st and 2nd rounds, We both team are competing each other. My team 1st place damage reducer is fall and opponent team has not lost any monsters. But his strong tank is low in health.

[ Round 3,4 ]

In this 3rd and 4th rounds, my team's attackers are trying to knock down the opponent team attackers. My team lost the 2nd place mini-tanker again. And also the strong tanker of enemy team is fall.
My team's mini-tanker, Theme card " Hill Giant" fall quickly, but he played his full role. After the fall of the strong tanker of opponent team, his back row attackers are weak in battle field. And so, my team magic attackers are easily knock down them.

In this rounds 5th , Opponent team left one magic attacker and My team left two of magic attackers and one range attacker.
After some attacks moves are done, my team victory.

Conclusion for my battle

• The opponent team is:- He had a Strong tanker at the front of the team and back row are one Magic attacker, and one tank heal supporter and then one damage reducer supporters. In the battle condition his team power is good and lead the battle. But his magic attacker is not effected to my team because of his low damage magic attacks. So his team attacks are going to weak.

• In my team :- Tank at the front was damage reducer supporter and mini-tanker. In this battle My team is showing the whole team power. HILL GIANT's attacks and defencing power are very support in battle rounds. And the back row attackers are easily knock down the opponent team's monsters.
  So My team total team power is show as my lineup is work well.

• In later matches, I will confidently used HILL GIANT. I suggested that:- HILL GIANT is a good to choice for use in appropriate mana cost Earth Elemental battles. His low Mana cost and health 6 are nice to useful. Its can easy to team with other Earth Elemental monsters.
