Today I want to share my battle for weekly challenge! WOOD NYMPH.
This is my First Post of about this weekly challenge, WOOD NYMPH.
WOOD NYMPH
- Edition: REWARD
- Rarity: COMMON
- Element: EARTH
- Attack: MAGIC
- Abilities: Tank Heal/Strengthen at level 6
A peculiar new bud appeared at the tips of the highest branches of the Elder Tree.
The animals living in the tree watched as the strange buds grew, and in a matter of days, burst open.
From each bud zoomed forth a tiny sprite.
These Wood Nymphs quickly scattered around Anumün in a frenzy of mischief.
Battle Rule
- Armored Up : Monsters get +2 added to their armor stat.
- Mana Cost 26
- Allow Summoner : Water and Earth.
Battle Rule is "Armored Up" that is means our teams of Monsters get +2 added to their armor stat. And we can use only two Elemental ( Water and Earth )Summoners. Mana Cost is appropriate.
So I have to choose Lineup carefully. I think that- By the rule of battle, the opponent team may be choose the Earth Summoner. The trick here is to use magic spells. But our competitors will do the same.
So focus on HP and not on shields. This is a point to consider in battles with tricks. And then I thought that I must Choose Magic attackers and suppliers that support HP.
SUMMONER : Earth Summoner, WIZARD OF EASTWOOD
- Reason for Picking: I chose to use the powerful Earth Elements. He is a good Summoner for appropriate mana cost battles. By the rule of battle, I like his abilities : -2 Shields for opponent team's monsters.
Reason for Picking: UNICORN MUSTANG
( Mana cost 8, Speed 4, Melee attack 3 and Lives 10).
His special ability is "Void" that is "Reduce damage from magic attacks".
I use him for good tank attacker because of his "Void" ability.
So he is a good Tanker in this battle rounds.
I like his speedy attacks.
Reason for Picking: MUSHROOM SEER
( Mana cost 5, Speed 1, Magic attack 2 and Lives 3 ).
He is a good supporter Magic attacker.
I choose him as a supporter for my team tank.
His "Silence" ability and magic attacks are very support in the battles.
Reason for Picking: WOOD NYMPH (Theme Card)
( Mana cost 4, Speed 1, Magic attack 1 and Lives 2 ).
She is a good supporter magic attacker.
I choose her as a supporter for my team tank.
Her "Tank Heal" ability and magic attacks are very support in the battles.
Reason for Picking: MANTOID
( Mana cost 6, Speed 2, Range attack 2 and Lives 5 ).
He/She is a good supporter Ranger attacker.
I choose him/her as a supporter for my team tank.
His/Her "Snipe" ability and range attacks are very support in the battles.
Battle Rule
- Armored Up : Monsters get +2 added to their armor stat.
- Mana Cost 26
- Allow Summoner : Water and Earth.
(PLAY BY PLAY)
[ROUND- 1]
At the start of the first round I am seeing my enemy used Earth Summoner. His team is line up with Strong Tanker and back row are full of Magic attackers. So his team was prepared with strong Magic line up.
In this first round, Both teams have equal power in the match.
When two teams compete on the same line, different factors can determine the outcome of a match. Let's see the next rounds.
[ROUND- 2]
- In this round two, tankers from both teams attack each other. Tank Heals Suppliers from the back are refilling their lives. It's a good battle round.
[ROUND- 3]
- This round is very excited for both of us. My team had knock down the second place magic attacker of opponent team. It is good condition for my team. My team's Snipe Range attacker is show his power.
[ROUND- 4]
In this round four, Tankers of both teams are slowly reducing their lives. Tank Healers of both teams are also carrying out their duties precisely. My team Snipe Range Attacker is ready to shoot another enemy.
Wow!, next magic attacker of opponent team was shoot down by my team's range attacker again.
[ROUND- 5]
- In this round fifth, Opponent team's had left low lives tanker, one tank healer magic attacker with very low live, one damage reducer. My team is still strong with full power. This condition showing my team is leads to victory.
[ROUND- 6]
- In this round sixth, my team's range attacker is shoot down Opponent team's "tank healer" magic attacker again. The condition is Victory for my team.
[ROUND- 7]
- After some attacking moves, the last monster of opponent team is fall.
The battle is end with victory for my team.
- Opponent team's line-up is strong with full of Magic attackers.
My team mixes Range and Magic attackers and make the team stronger.
Until the last minute, this battle is led both of us to an exciting battle. Both teams will remember this match, which competed with tricks and attack power.
Battle Results Reaction:
- An excellent whole team performance that leads my team to victory. With the combined attacker of strong tank attacker, Magic attacker and Range attacker. The damage reducer supporters or some magic and range attacker are in particular was well supported. That was a good lineup for an Earth Elemental Team for appropriate mana cost battles. The victory was definitely won.
Telling about My lineup
- The main point for appropriate mana cost and tricky battle is choosing the mixed attackers with good damage attacks. My lineup are consists of 1 strong tanker with Magic defence ability "Void". Then follower monsters as 1 magic attacker with "Silence" ability. Then my Theme supporter WOOD NYMPH, with her ability "Tank Heal". After that my risk attacker range attacker with "Snipe" ability. And then if mana cost is allow I can choose 2 or 3 Range or Sneak attackers as a back line supporters with "Flying" ability. This lineup is best for "Earth Elemental Team" battles. I use my lineup which depend on battle rules.
Did your strategy work?
- Yes it did work. As the Earth Elemental, with WOOD NYMPH provides a good "Tank Healer" positions in appropriate mana cost battles. In this battle, my Theme attacker (WOOD NYMPH) she is shiny with her ability "Tank Heal". The risk and trip attacker of my team range attacker is show his snipe shooting power. The "Tank Healer" can be a good supporter if she fights with other speedy attackers. However, it is the collective strength of the whole team that makes a team strong.
What will you try differently next time?
In later matches, "WOOD NYMPH" will be used in many other line-ups with other Earth elemental monsters. I would love to twist some changes. But for now I like that lineup to work as it's really a good combination for appropriate mana cost battles. I want to meet more amazing Battles with "WOOD NYMPH".
However, if I will use a higher level "WOOD NYMPH" in the future, I will definitely use better cards to team up with.

I'm in the Bronze Leagues. I love to use "WOOD NYMPH" because of his "cheap mana cost" and her special ability "Tank Healing" is very supported in battles. It can join with other attackers and team up a strong line up. We believe in her "Tank Healing" ability to provide support at the team tank attacker and we will choose "WOOD NYMPH" exactly.
In the future, I will try to use it on higher leagues as soon as I find my way as well to climb up there first.
