[DE/EN] Share your battle: Radiated Brute!
Die Karte/The Card
Radiated Brute ist eine 5-Mana-Karte im Feuer Splinter. Dieses Melee Monster kann ab dem ersten Level von der zweiten Position aus angreifen, später bekommt es noch Enrage. Insgesamt fügt er sich gut in den Feuer Splinter ein und bietet neueren Spielern wie mir eine günstigere Alternative zu Fineas Rage.
Radiated Brute is a 5-mana card in Fire Splinter. This melee monster can attack from second position from the first level, and later gets Enrage. Overall, it fits in well with the Fire Splinter and offers newer players like me a cheaper alternative to Finea's Rage.
Die Regeln/The Ruleset
Diesmal standen mir 99 Mana und die Splinter Feuer, Erde, Tod und Drachen zur Verfügung. Das Ruleset war Rise of the Commons. Die meisten Karten mit hohem Mana sind Legendaries, welche ich hier also bereits ausschließen konnte.
This time I had 99 mana and the splinters Fire, Earth, Death and Dragon at my disposal. The ruleset was Rise of the Commons. Most of the cards with high mana are Legendaries, so I could already exclude them here.
Meine Aufstellung/My Lineup
Summoner:
Als Summoner nehme ich (natürlich) Tarsa. Ihre Fähigkeiten machen Feuer zu eine sehr Melee lastigen Splinter. Dies kann ein Vorteil oder auch Nachteil sein, ganz generell will man mit ihr darauf achten, möglichst viele Minions aufzustellen, die am besten doppelt von ihren Buffs profitieren.
As a Summoner I take Tarsa (of course). Her abilities make Fire a very Melee-heavy Splinter. This can be an advantage or a disadvantage, but in general you want to make sure that you have as many minions as possible that benefit twice from her buffs.
Position 1: Living Lava
Auf der ersten Position steht Living Lava. Ein solider tank im Feuer Splinter, sogar noch auf lvl 1.
On the first position is Living Lava. A solid tank in the fire splinter, even at lvl 1.
Position 2: Radiated Brute
Auf der zweiten Position kommt natürlich Radiated Brute. Er soll zunächst von dort aus Schaden austeilen, um anschließend beim Tod der Living Lava als zweiter, wenn auch eher leichter Tank fungieren.
On the second position comes Radiated Brute, of course. It should first deal damage from there and then act as a second, light tank when Living Lava dies.
Position 3: Tenyii Striker
Danach kommt der Tenyii Striker. Er soll die Backline niedermachen und später vorne den Tank spielen. Er ist gewissermaßen die umgekehrte Version des Radiated Brute.
After that comes the Tenyii Striker. He is supposed to knock down the backline and later play the tank in front. In a way, he is the reverse version of the Radiated Brute.
Position 4: Sand Worm
Der Sand Worm auf Position 4 übernimmt dieselbe Rolle wie der Tenyii Striker. Gemeinsam werden sie hoffentlich von Hinten aufräumen.
The Sand Worm at position 4 takes on the same role as the Tenyii Striker. Together they will hopefully clean up from behind.
Position 5: Gargoya Devil
Der Gargoya Devil steht auf Position 5 hinter den Nahkämpfern. Mit 7 Mana ist er in diesem 99-Mana Match gut aufgehoben, außerdem hat so nicht jedes Minion auf meiner Seite Melee Damage, da ich sonst leicht gekontert werden könnte.
The Gargoya Devil is in position 5 behind the melee minions. At 7 mana, it's a good fit in this 99-mana matchup, plus that way not every Minion on my side has melee damage, otherwise I could be easily countered.
Position 6: Naga Fire Wizard
Auf der letzten position befindet sich Naga Fire Wizard. Auch diese Karte habe ich wegen der hohen Manakosten und der Tatsache gewählt, dass sie nicht mit Melee Damage angreift. Außerdem kann sie mit ihrer Schild Fähigkeit gut gegen gegnerische Sneak Monster bestehen.
On the last position is Naga Fire Wizard. I also chose this card because of its high mana cost and the fact that it doesn't attack with melee damage. Also, with its shield ability, it can stand up well against opposing Sneak monsters.
Der Kampf/The Battle
Runde 1:
Mein Gegner hat eine ähnliche Strategie gewählt wie ich, allerdings hat er anstatt Radiated Brute auf Position 2 Fineas Rage gewählt. Interessanterweise hat er jedoch immerhin 1 Angriff weniger, da mein Brute auf lvl 5 und Fineas vom Gegner nur auf Stufe 1 ist.
My opponent chose a similar strategy as me, but instead of Radiated Brute in position 2 he chose Fineas Rage. Interestingly enough, he has 1 attack less, since my Brute is at lvl 5 and Fineas is only at lvl 1.
Runde 2:
In Runde 2 ist das erste Minion in der letzten Position meines Gegners gestorben, meines lebt noch. Auch seine Living Lava hat mehr Schaden genommen. Alles läuft soweit nach Plan.
On turn 2, the first Minion in my opponent's last position died, mine is still alive. His Living Lava has also taken more damage. Everything is going according to plan so far.
Runde 3:
Eine Runde weiter ist meine Naga Fire Wizard gestorben, meine Living Lava lebt jedoch noch. Der Tenyii Striker des Gegners muss bereits nach vorne aufrücken, da auch Fineas Rage gestorben ist.
One turn later, my Naga Fire Wizard has died, but my Living Lava is still alive. The opponent's Tenyii Striker already has to move up because Finea's Rage has died as well.
Runde 4:
Der Eisblock des Gegners erweist sich als starker Tank und fängt komplett den Schaden meiner Sneak Monster, ohne zu sterben. Die Living Lava stirbt endlich und der Radiated Brute rückt in die erste Reihe vor.
The opponent's Gelatinous Cube proves to be a strong tank and completely catches the damage of my sneak monster without dying. The Living Lava finally dies and the Radiated Brute moves to the front row.
Runde 5:
In der letzten Runde haben sich die Kämpfer weiter dezimiert, doch der Sand Worm des Gegners wird keine Changse mehr haben.
In the last round, the fighters further decimated, but the opponent's Sand Worm will no longer have Changse.
Hat meine Strategie funktioniert?/Did my strategy work?
Ja, aber ich wähle natürlich auch eher positive Beispiele aus. Generell wäre Fineas Rage hier z.B. Radiated Brute überlegen. Im konkreten Match war meiner allerdings stärker, deshalb lohnt sich diese Karte mit ihren niedrigeren Kosten also durchaus.
Yes, but of course I choose more positive examples. In general, Finea's Rage would be superior to Radiated Brute, for example. In the actual match, however, mine was stronger, so this card with its lower cost is definitely worth it.
Mag ich Radiated Brute?/Do I like Radiated Brute
Ja, ich nehme sehr oft in Matches mit Tarsa. Generell kann man so viel Schaden auf den gegnerischen Tank, die Backline verteilen und mit Serpentine Spy dem jeweils schwächsten Minion den Rest geben. Er ist (auf Silber Niveau) zwar von den Stats und Fähigkeiten schlechter als Tenyii Striker, allerdings kann es auch manchmal sinnvoller sein, den Schaden auf die Tank Position zu fokussieren.
Yes, I use it very often in matches with Tarsa. In general, you can distribute so much damage to the enemy tank, the backline and kill of the weakest minion with Serpentine Spy. It is (at silver level) worse than Tenyii Striker in terms of stats and abilities, but sometimes it can make more sense to focus the damage on the tank position.

Sehr schöner Post. Auch der Vergleich von Radiated Brute mit Fineas Rage. Ab Level 6 finde ich Brute jedoch sogar stärker als Fineas Rage, durch die Enrage Fähigkeit der Brute.
Ich stimme dir zu. Es gibt so einige Karten, die ab einem gewissen lvl mit neuen Fähigkeiten so richtig abgehen. Ich persönlich bewerte die meisten Karten noch nach ihrem max. Silber lvl, weil meine Chaos Summoner auf diesem Niveau sind. Fineas Rage und einige andere Karten finden bei mir keine Anwendung mehr, da sie im Vergleich zu meinen gelevelten CL Karten einfach schwächer sind.
