Is Splinterlands the victim of its own success?

SPS airdrop, long waits

The last few weeks, I have been having issues with the claiming of my SPS tokens from the airdrop on Splinterlands. Most of the time now, there is no possibility to claim your tokens as the site draws a blank on your eligible tokens. You have to get really lucky to claim and stake them, these days. Which kind of sucks, as the sooner you stake the more interest you earn on your staked SPS tokens, so I really want to stake them every day, as every little bit counts in my opinion.
But there is more...

Unable to log-in via Keychain

As of today, I am not even able to log into my account via Hive Keychain, the site sends me to Metamask which I don't use for Splinterlands. So even logging in is not an option right now. Don't get me wrong, I am not worried about this, the team will get this sorted out, that's for sure, but it is a bummer.
I think that right now Splinterlands is the victim of its own success, as the site is not capable anymore to sustain the load of traffic. Especially with the Waka card sale AND the SplinterShards airdrop, the site gets a lot more traffic daily.
So, it is time for Splinterlands and its team to step up and make the game and site compatible with the amount of traffic they are getting. Or it will slowly bleed dead. That's just how it works with these kind of games. Once people can't play them daily they search for other games, which they can play, and Splinterlands is forgotten before you know it!

Sincerely,

Pele23

The people doing V2K with remote neural monitoring want me to believe this lady @battleaxe is an operator. She is involved deeply with her group and @fyrstikken . Her discord is Battleaxe#1003. I cant prove she is the one directly doing the V2K and RNM. Doing it requires more than one person at the least. It cant be done alone. She cant prove she is not one of the ones doing it. I was drugged in my home covertly, it ended badly. They have tried to kill me and are still trying to kill me. I bet nobody does anything at all. Ask @battleaxe to prove it. I bet she wont. They want me to believe the V2K and RNM in me is being broadcast from her location. And what the fuck is "HOMELAND SECURITY" doing about this shit? I think stumbling over their own dicks maybe? Just like they did and are doing with the Havana Syndrome https://ecency.com/fyrstikken/@fairandbalanced/i-am-the-only-motherfucker-on-the-internet-pointing-to-a-direct-source-for-voice-to-skull-electronic-terrorism

:( oh man, that really sucks. I know, I play Alien Worlds, another online game and I can really relate to thinking it was such a success, and had all these things planned, so I thought it would only increase in value.. not it's about 15% of the value it once was..

I have noticed that the SPS screen is really slow as well and it doesn't slow down until I get out of that screen. However I don't really have any issues logging in.

I have also had problems trying to collect my BSC related SPS for investing into CubDefi.

Had different issues that made me play less. I observe some changes that I haven't seen in the updates. One example is the reduced number of DEC reward from the middle to the end of the season. I am not sure if the same thing is experienced by other players. Imagine at Silver III playing with 100% Capture Rate and yet you just earn 1 DEC per successful battle. You're lucky if you reach 2 DEC. But the first two days of the season are different. I earn higher. I don't know why is it like this? It's not like this three to four seasons ago.

Another thing. Since the changes in rewards took place last year, playing in Bronze was already difficult, but at least if your winning rate is higher, you can add more DEC every end of the season. The last two seasons are different. No matter what strategy I used in playing my family's accounts, you will end up reducing your DEC as the season goes. So what I did for the last two seasons for my family's account is to play the game enough to reach at least Bronze II. No more renting during EOS for you cannot earn the DEC back by simply winning. Imagine, before more than 500 battles per season, but now, very rare to reach 100.

Grateful to Splinterlands for introducing Hive to me, but I am not happy now with what's going with players at the lower league. Me at Silver III, no problem. Every season, though small, my account is growing.
