Brawl Battle Report #5 + Gladius Pack Opening

Today I want to share my battles in the Bronze CL Only Fray of the recently ended Brawl. My guild is fighting in Tier 1, where I had to enter 4 games in my fray this time. In my last brawl, I got a 100 % score, but this time will differ...

The Card I Love

Wow! 2 Magic damage + 2 Melee damage and 11 hitpoints with heal Quara Towershead should be unstoppable. Ok, the 10 mana could be a problem, but in higher mana battles, this is quite amazing! But there is one rule in my guild: "Do not force the Gladiator Cards. Sometimes it is better not to play them". There is maybe one little exception from this rule: "But always force a Quora" :-)

The Cards I Fear

This guy destroyed me at the last brawl. With 7 Armoer and Void Armor, he is incredibly hard to kill and the 3 damage isn't that bad for a tank. Don't play low HP guys in the front...

In the last Brawls, I was killed very hardly by this guy. With Reach and the 5 speed, he was able to kill my frontline and trigged bloodlust nearly each time he gets his turn. There are a couple of other monsters with reach, the 4 damage and a decent amount of hitpoints + armor in other splinters, but they are often very slow, so this is the reach monster I fear so most! And Quora of course - but that would be a mirror match I think :D

The Battles

Battle 1: WIN

Here my Quora comes into killing modus. My enemy anticipated magic, but don't play low HP monsters against Gladiator cards - a lesson that I learned myself the hard way...

Battle 2: WIN

My Slipspawn died faster than it should, but the enemy double strike was very hard. But when my Quora comes into killing mode again, there was no way to stop her!

Battle 3: WIN

My opponent fled, so I have to take the free win :-)

Battle 4: LOSE

Oh no, one of my feared cards in the enemy team! I struggeled to find a way through the Uriel and my Reine with the blast wasn't that helpful, as the blast damage goes to the Contuma with 8 HP. I have to search a better way to play my Reine!

Battle 5: Win

Quora against the rest of the world is the theme of this battle. Funnily, my Quora did not kill any monster until the last one due to the earthquake, but this game shows how powerfull Quora can be!

Conclusion and Results of my Guild

I managed a 4-1-0 score this time (okay, 1 enemy fled...) This time it was a Quora domination from me, but I still need a way to integrate the Reine into my play...

My guild also did very well. The #2 is very good, but the gap to the #1 is very large. But we take the 18 crowns! We are now at 70 crowns, so we need 2 more brawls to get 100 crowns to level up our Store!

I am also able to buy a new Pack, so let's open it right away!

Gladius Pack Opening

Nothing special, just the standard 4 common + 1 rare. I've got one of these nice reach monsters, but I think I like the Reine for the Water splinter a bit more.
