Hello to all fans of the Brawls! We are the Hel-Brawlers, one Squad of the bigger Brawlers and Yield Guild family. We like to play the game for fun and rewards, and what we took extremely seriously are the Guild Brawls. Here is our battle report #2.

Prep Stage

We are currently fighting in Tier 1, so we have to fill 13 Frays each brawl.

Select your fray! We are a very active guild, which means, that we have more members who are willing to play Brawls than we've got frays. For that reason, we have implemented a rotating system that makes sure that everyone has the chance to play in the brawl and to make sure that we play the best we can! What does that mean? The last 3 players of the last brawl in terms of results are rotating out and the next 3 players can join. The highest DEC contributors get the first choice of frays.

Combat Stage

Time to fight! We've got a total number of 54 battles this brawl. The battles of Fray 7 (Chaos Legion Bronze level) are shown below:

Used Gladiator Card: Captain Katie

A Katie mirror match! I put some shield monsters out with Grandmaster Rathe and played against General Sloan. I think the massive amount of shield was the key here in combination with the repiar. Exciting game and a nice win!

Used Gladiator Card: Quora Towershead

Pretty standard Quora play. Grund in the Front, Taunt in the back and some magic damage including Quora and some support (no heal ruleset here, so the queen was choosen instead) between them. My enemy does not have anything against magic, so this was an easy walk!

Used Gladiator Card: Flagulon Reine

No Gladiator card for my enemy. Also, the healer does not comes into play because I worked through the shield first. Then I've got to much damage output, and a Reine of course :-)

Used Gladiator Card: Quora Towershead

I can understand that my enemy went for a melee team, as the combination of poison + enrage is very funny. But I think the Taunt play from me was vital here. The heavily magic damage from my team was also a direct counter to the shield play from my enemy without any magic attack defense. A very clear win for me.

Result Stage

We did it! Number 1 with a hughe difference between #2 and us. Even if we did not fill each fray this week (one fray with 2 games was empty this time), this is an awsome result. Our Earnings aren't bad too:

Upgrading Buildings

We are now at 110 crowns. Let's have a quick look what buildings are leveled up next:

Hall

We've got our hall to level 6 right now. It determinates our Member Limit to 21 and the other Buildings are capped at level 6 as well. As there is no need for crowns to level the Hall up, we just have to contribute...

Lodge

The Lodge levels up itself, all we have to do is to finish our daily quests. We are at 7 % RP bonus currenlty, which is really nice for SPS rewards!

Arena

We are ready to bring the Arena to level 2. Let's have a quick look what the benefits will be:

As we can see, a level 2 Arena allows us to earn x 1.5 Crown rewards. The Frays are still limited to 13. Our mid-term goal should be to play in Tier 2, so we need a Arena at level 3 or higher. But before we level up this, we have to look at the other options.

Barracks

We are at Level 2 Barracks, which means that we just unlocked the Gladiator Cards. Currently there is no need to level it up further is the very near future as we all are still collection Gladiator cards.

Store

The Store allows us to pick up Gladiator packs. Also, the level of the Store determinates the reward multiplicator for the Merits. As we all want more merits to buy Gladiator packs, this is our current priority. With the last earnings, we will upgrade this building now! WE WANT MORE MERITS!
