Why is SPS Price dropping?

SPS Price has been falling ever since it's high from October 11th.
But why? The game is still growing with more than 10k newly active players a day and Chaos Legion presale is underway.

Simple answer for me: People are buying Chaos Legion presale packs with SPS (because they get 10% off on each purchase) and Splinterlands is liquidating at least some of those SPS.

Though I've personally had hoped they wouldn't liquidate any SPS, it seems clear now that they have and will continue to do so in the future.

This isn't a bad thing!
It would be worse if SPS tanked, because players or investors sold it off, because they lost interest in the project.

This might actually present a good enty position and oppurtunity for people to invest into Splinterlands.
I personally am still super bullish on the future of the game and will hold on to my SPS.

I think a good play here is to wait for it to bottom and get back in and be prepared to wait until the new cards sell out, and I have no idea how long that will take. But if a person can wait it out, they will have a very nice bag if they hold it staked through the entire airdrop period.
