Hello everyone,

It is the weekends again and I have some time out of my busy week to post for this week's battle challenge. Although the theme is wood nymph, I haven't been using that card much so instead I will be doing one on Undead Rexx instead!

The most notable skill of the Rexx will be the trample and it's high melee attack certainly help

Trample:
When a Monster with Trample hits and kills its target, it will perform another attack on the next Monster on the enemy Team. This gives the possibility of attacking twice and is quite good for lower mana battle.

Let's move on to the battle, the ruleset for my battle was Spreading Fury and Broken Arrows, with a moderate Mana cap at 23.

Since only Dragon deck and the Death Deck is playable, I decided to use a melee heavy strategy with Daria Dragonscale, since all monsters gain Enrage in the ruleset.

Positioning and Choice of Monsters

Summoner:
Daria Dragonscale
As my lineup is melee intensive, this would be great to give that extra damage boost.

Undead Rexx in First Position:

With the fury I am hoping that the Rexx will have a higher melee attack when Enraged, and being able to take down a few monsters down the road.

Manticore in 2nd Position:
Since Manticore has reach and Manticore is relatively cheap

Parasitic Growth in 3rd Position:

Low cost but low health so it is in the middle for some protection, and would like the Opportunistic attack to take out the weaker monsters in the backline.

Fallen Specter in 4th Position and Furious Chicken in 5th:

Fallen Specter is really nice to use but it's risky when it has only 1 Health. However the debuff it provides are usually excellent. In Silver league, the abilities is limited to only level 2, which are Flying and Demoralize.

As for the Furious Chicken, this time it is placed at the back to tank a hit if there is a sneak monster in the opponent's.

Round 1:

In the first round, the opponent summoner reduced all melee attacks, but this was offset by my summoner. Meeting a player with the Legionnaire title is always a scary thing as they then to have lots of maxed out cards. The fallen specter demoralizes the enemies Robo Dragon Knight though the high health and heavy armor makes it a really tough tank!

As the Rexx was attacked by the Venari Bonesmith, thanks to Enrage, the Rexx attack goes up to a whopping +8. The Dragon Knight armor was removed totally in just 1 hit from my Rexx. My Parasitic Growth killed of the enemy's Corpse Fiend

Round 2:

In the 2nd round, magic attack from the Fallen Specter does nothing to the knight as in round 1 due to the void ability. My Rexx was almost killed by the Robo Dragon Knight when it attacks. Thankfully the Rexx attacks next and kill of the Robo Dragon Knight in 1 hit. Trample is activated and the Carrion Shade is also killed. However with only 1 health, my Rexx was killed by the Venari Bonesmith. Manticore went up to be the tank and injure the Bonesmith, while Parasitic Growth kills the enemy's Chicken. The enemy Doctor Blight attacked my Manticore and causes slight damage. In fact I am quite lucky as none of the attacks so far inflicted poison on my monsters

Round 3:

Manticore was poisoned this time round, but a combined attack from Manticore, Fallen Specter and Parasitic Growth managed to kill the Bonesmith.

Round 4:

In round 4, Dr Blight was killed by the Fallen Specter and the Manticore which was almost dead in fact.

Victory:

The Rexx is very much key to the victory. Without the Rexx, it would have been quite hard to quickly go through the Robo-Dragon knight before Dr Blight and Bonesmith leech too much life or poisoned my monsters.

What do I like about Undead Rexx most:

The Trample and the High Melee attack!

What I do not like?

Would be awesome if the Rexx has Piercing and some Armor!
