My Lineup and Strategy

This was a 26 mana cost battle, I used Tarsa as my summoner which gave an extra health point to all my monsters. And it was a standard game with no modifications to the ruleset.

I used the Living Lava in the first position in my lineup as a tank. It has a good balance of Offense and defence. With 3 melee attack damage, it also has a nice shield ability, allowing it to take less damage.

Next came the Serpent Spy. It is a quick "assassin" and I use it quite often in my fire splinter lineup. Serpent Spy has one of the best abilities in the entire game, the opportunity ability, which helps it to eliminate weak monsters quickly at any position.

Tenyii Striker came in the third position in my lineup. It has an interesting sneak ability that attacks monsters from the back, unlike the front of the lineup. It complemented the Serpent Spy and eliminated two monsters in quick succession.

In the fourth position came the Scavo Firebolt. For its 4 mana cost, it provided 2 ranged attack and 4 health points which is not bad for its worth. One of the best things about this card is its use case, I can create many different strategies with this like a triple snipe attack.

Last but not least was Lava Spider, a low-cost sniping monster that complemented the Scavo Firebolt and provided a good attack. It has a snipe ability and attacks monsters not in the first position.

My Strategy was to use a beefy tank in the front and use attacking monsters in the back with the surprise element of using monsters with sneak and opportunity abilities. I ended up using two ranged monsters that complemented each other well.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Yes, my strategy of using a good tank in front with low health but quick attacking monsters at the back proved to be nice. My opponent used a similar strategy.

Do you like the SCAVO FIREBOLT? Why or why not?

Yes, I like the Scavo Firebolt mainly because of its low mana cost and high damage of 2. Although I used Melee heavy attack in this case but I can use this monster with more sniping units too. It is also very useful in mid to low mana cost battles at my league level.
