EPIC BATTLE STRATEGIES AT SILVER ELIMINATION TOURNEY (RUNNER UP) & GIVEAWAY #62

Welcome back to my blog, @queen-silvia. In today post, I am going to share to all of you epic battle strategies when I was participating in @crypto-zard tournament which was showed live in his stream. Thanks Zard for conducting the tournament. Well, the tournament was a single elimination tournament at silver league and modern format. I had a great final match with my guild mate at Summoner's Tribe, @bjyshadow. The score was 2-2 and then I lost 2-4 at the end, maybe because I felt so sleepy as the final was at 11 PM in my local time 😆. Well, anyway we have some cool battle strategies which I hope it can be useful for all readers, so let's get started :

Alright, The top Tier 5 Silver battle strategies that we are going to discuss in depth are :

Keep in mind that Lorna Shine is very strong at low mana battle
Always anticipate sneak attack in low mana match
Magic attack is always better than ranged attack in "Armored Up" ruleset
Use Ranged attack to counter Mylor
Strengthen Melee damage in "Broken Armor" ruleset

At the beginning of this article, I will share the final result of the tournament and... at the end, there will be a giveaway #62 to grab so Let's get started !

- TOURNAMENT RESULT -

My Guild mate, @bjyshadow, became the champion after tough battle at the final with 2-4 for his win, There are some epic battle strategies between I and him which I will share to all of you in the next chapter. For the third place, we have @weeareus. I beat him in the semifinal. Thank you very much for playing with me 🙏. @crypto-zard is conducting many tournaments with the prize reward 2000 - 2300 DEC plus Chaos Legion Pack, so If you guys want to increase your battle skill, the tournaments will be very good place for you to meet many strong players, and... If you are playing with rental cards, those prize can be used to cover the rental costs which makes you playing for free. 😊

Alright, Here are the top battle strategies throughout the tournaments. I hope these strategies can give more insight for the better gameplay. Enjoy~ :

- LORNA SHINE IS VERY STRONG AT LOW MANA BATTLE -

Lorna Shine is very strong in low mana because she can give divine shield ability to all of friendly monsters which can make them negate the first attack by the opponent. In low mana battle, negating 1 attack is very important because it can determine the outcome of the battle. I lost in this match and another reason why I lost is because @bjyshadow put many monsters who have armor from the highest to the lowest and that strategy really works well to protect monsters in the last position. Great job!.

- ALWAYS ANTICIPATE SNEAK ATTACK IN LOW MANA BATTLE -

24 is a good mana to build a sneaky team but unfortunately my opponent line-up is better since he put Djinn Chwala who has Thorn ability as a tank and then supported by Shadowy Presence to give additional +1 health to all of friendly monsters. If we are looking at his sneaky team, it's better then mine, the total melee damage is 7 and Silence Sha-Vi in the fifth position will hold some of my sneak attack so low HP monsters like Undead badger can be protected. Pretty sweet line up.

- MAGIC ATTACK IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN RANGED IN ARMORED UP RULESET -

Well, I think it's a basic gameplay that ranged attack can not penetrate the opponent monsters when they have armor. The armor should be broken first so that we can reduce the opponent's HP. So, Obviously, It's much better to use magic attack in the above battle as there's no way to use magic reflect also since all of monsters lost their ability due to Back to Basics ruleset. My Ilthain has only increased the speed and return fire has no use case in the battle. Lorna is again the better choice since the battle mana is low.

- USE RANGED ATTACK TO COUNTER MYLOR -

We have had so many low mana battle in the final and most of the win were decided by who was building better strategy to counter sneaky team and when I thought he was going to use sneak, I am totally wrong. He went 3 ranged attack units and they really counter my Mylor team. The summoner is made to counter melee monsters not ranged attack monsters. They way he put Naga Assassin in the last position is very good since she has backfire to inflict 2 damage if my sneak attack missed the target. Cool line up from @bjyshadow, hats off.

- STRENGHTEN MELEE DAMAGE IN BROKEN ARMOR RULESET -

Well, I lost in this battle and the big reason is the inspire ability from River Hellondale which makes all of the melee monsters gain +1 melee damage, including the sneaky monsters (Uraeus and Pelacor Bandit). Both monsters have really destroyed my monsters in the backline and I couldn't hold their attack since 1 triage wasn't enough. In the first position, we can see Demented Shark is still a better tank with 4 base melee damage and Enrage ability compared to Chain Golem.
