It's your number one queen Priscilla. For quite some time now I have been unavoidably absent from Hive blockchain, although I haven't for one day missed my favorite splinterlands game.

On this week's social media challenge, I choose to write about my favorite element in the splinterlands game. I'd like to state that this will be my first time participating in the social media challenge but the weekly share your battle challenge has my signature signed all over it.

Different Elements of Splinterlands
For someone who isn't a player of splinterlands, understanding the elements in it might be quite a deal but trust me it isn't. Should I state or do we all already know that splinterlands is a play-to-earn game that is based on varieties of card collections arranged in the right manner to achieve a victory. These cards are not just there but are made to belong to a particular family known in splinterlands as element. The cards are assigned elements depending on the character of which they are made of.

What are the Elements that exist in Splinterlands?
Basically, there are six classes of elements in splinterlands and they are known as

• Earth

• Fire

• Water

• Life

• Death

• Dragon

All these elements have specific cards assigned under them and can be called upon by a summoner of a like elements.

My Favorite of all the Elements
Over the past few months of me playing splinterlands, I have come to have the Earth element as my favorite and my most used element. On the earth deck elements exist some dangerous magical cards that always deliver when used in battle.

This is one good thing about the game. You don't necessarily need to own the cards in other to earn. The rental markets are always open for rentals at an affordable rate.

The best moments of the earth's elements come from their magical strength. With a summoner that enhances their magic damage, earth splinters become quite formidable monsters. Below are two different battles fought with the earth monsters the water and dragon monsters respectively.

Both battles have similarities in the sense that both follow a strategy that is based on magic damage.

The first similarity is the use of the same summoner "Obsidian", to increase all friendly magic damage by one.

Another is the instinct to protect the cards which yielded to the introduction of the monster "Queen Mycelia". The great Queen Mycelia is too important to ignore for battle. She is a fighter and also a protector. Protecting every friendly monster with two armors above their head using the protect ability of hers. This Armor is very important as it protects them from enemy monsters that attack by hitting such as the melee attack and ranged attack monsters.

In the third phase, after the monsters' protection has been achieved, it's crucial to try and reduce the damage they receive from enemy monsters. This brought about the introduction of a monster with a silence ability "Mushroom Seer". Mushroom Seer reduces all enemy monsters magic damage by one making them less dangerous.

The fourth thing to think of after all this is a healer and that can be found in the likes of "Goblin Psychic" or "Wood Nymph". These two cards possess the tank heal ability which can be used to heal the monster in their team's battlefront or themselves

One-way battling at times might not be too favorable which is where the fifth phase comes in with the introduction of a sneak monster "Goblin Sorcerer". As a sneak monster, Goblin Sorcerer attacks the opponent's team from behind. This helps a lot when the enemy's front-line is too build-up, then eliminating them one after another from behind becomes the best option

Also, without having to distract the enemy, things might just go bad. This is where the taunt ability comes to play. Using "Mycelic Slipspawn", a distraction is created. This can be very effective in battle. Since all enemy's monsters wouldn't attack elsewhere unless Slipspawn is gone, it is always the best time to inflict the most damage to the enemy.

The Best of Earth Element Monsters

I have come to realize that to get more wins with the earth element, these basic abilities are always required. The two battle shared here involved these abilities and is very much effective. I'd encourage you to give it a trial if you're yet to.
