Venari Spellsmith - The spell Addict

Hello Splinters
I did mention to be back this week for another episode of the weekly share your battle challenge, didn't I? For avoidance of doubt, it's still your number one Queen of splinters "queenpriscilla".

As the tradition demands, every week, a new card makes the theme for discussion and this week is no other but our very own neutral battle monster "Venari Spellsmith". Personally, i have come to see the splinterlands game as very friendly and entertaining with a unified community that is very welcoming and encouraging. As this result, things such as this, is thrown open for all interested fellow.

So, to be a participant of this week's share your battle challenge, just hit this link for directions and guideline

Venari Spellsmith (VS)

A quick look at the lore of VS shows that it possesses one great quality, which is dedication. Dedicated in spell casting to the point that it became part of them. isn't that great? At least this battle monster just reminded us what dedication can do. Our goals can be unlimited as long as we are dedicated towards them.

What does Venari Spellsmith Stat looks like?

As seen above, VS which belongs to neutral unit monsters has eight battle levels. The cards which also carries out magic attack, has a one magic damage from first to fifth level and two magic damage from sixth to eighth level.

Also seen above for VS stat is a battling speed of two and three found in 1-4 and 5-8 levels respectively. Health of VS is seen to be either two, three, or four depending on the reference level.

Team Arrangement

OBSIDIAN: The mantle of summoning fell on Obsidian because of her amplified magic damage offers.

HILL GIANT: The need for defense with higher health that can be refilled brought about the selection of Hill Giant. Though it didn't fall into the magic class, its health and one melee attack were also needed for the battle. With the hope of a health refill by Tank heal, HG could last longer in the battle which indeed came to play in this one.

QUEEN MYCELIA: It was necessary to provide some kind of protection for the team which is reason behind queen mycelia's selection. With her ability, all friendly monster got 2 amor. She is also a great fighter with her one magic attack, in this case with Obsidian as summoner was made two magic damage. Also on her stat table is four health and one battling speed for the level used in presented battle.

GOBLIN SORCERER: The strategy required a front and back arrest of enemy's monsters, which called for the need of a sneak. GS got selected because of this sneak ability and for being magic attack monster since the team was being built on magic. On GS stat is also two health, two battling speed, and one magic damage which was amplified to two by the summoner.

WOOD NYMPH: What is a battle without a healer? Heal Tank Lady, Wood Nymph made the team selection list for a healing ability as well as possesses the same magic damage as her predecessor. She also entered the battlefield with two battling speeds and three health.

KHMER PRINCESS: Maintaining the magic hit and increasing the required damage, Princess Khmer made the team selection. She follows the same magic damage of her predecessor but with a battling speed of one and two health.

VENARI SPELLSMITH: This spell addict which is this week's theme played a minor role in the battle before being eliminated. Stats of VS has been discussed previously above.

The Arising Questions

Did My Strategy Work? I'd say it was the perfect strategy following the manner in which the game was won. Except for Venari Spellsmith who was eliminated in from my side, every other monster made it to the end of the battle. So, the answer is simply "Yes". The strategy worked.

What I Think about Venari Spellsmith: For now, I can't say I have started enjoying the benefits of VS because and yet to own the card myself. Having those three abilities makes VS a worthy opponent for any team. I'd see its abilities as very important and I'm seriously dreaming of a day when I will not only own it but own its highest level to enjoy its full benefits

Again, I'm hitting the pause button here for this week. I'd hope to see you next week when I hit the resume button

Thanks for Reading
