Weekly Challenge - Animated Corpse

So another week of Weekly Challenge, something that I have been looking forward to all these while ever since I join the Hive Community. So for this week, Animated Corpse

So this is the Animated Corpse. It is a stock card, meaning that everyone will be able to use it the moment they join the game. This is a really, no frills monster. With 4 mana, I believe the best position for it would be as a Tank. Nevertheless, 6 Health is not a lot too so it doesn't make that good a Tank. The caveat is that it has 4 mana, meaning that it can be quite useful in a low mana match. Now I initially thought that it would be tough to use this but hey! Surprisingly, I was able to complete this quest pretty quickly! Now let's move on to the match!

Now this is a screenshot of the match. Exactly like what I was saying, the match condition is "Little League", whereby only monsters of 4 mana or less are allowed. With a total mana cap of 44, it also means that you get to choose any combination of monsters without a concern of the total mana used, as long as the monsters are 4 mana or less.

So I lined up the monsters as follows. Melee Tank in front, followed by Magic (as they can attack even if they are the first monster), and lastly followed by Ranged monsters. As a lower mana cost tend to reflect the amount of health, I tend to put in monsters that have snipe, sneak, or opportunity. This way, hopefully I can wipe out their back lines (which normally are the damage dealers).

The match went exactly as planned, and it was a breeze. Their main damage dealers were wiped very quickly!

So Animated Corpse seems quite fine, though I am wondering why is it called an Animated Corpse in the first place.... Hmmmm.... Anyway, doubt I will be using it as my opponents tend to be pretty strong even at Silver 3. So this Animated Corpse might be sent back to his grave pretty quickly if I were to use it. Nevertheless, a win is a win and I am appreciative that this dude came back from his graves to help me secure a win! Haha.
