My thoughts about Splinterlands Proposal for Price Riftwatchers Packs in DEC

Splinterlands is my favorite game on the blockchain and I like the way they are trying to make things better and bring some good proposals. Many times it's good but not always and there is one proposal that I think is not good. They have submitted one proposal in which they are offering the option that wire riftwatcher packs will be available for purchase through Dec token. I can see that majority of the community has voted against it.

I don't know why the team behind the game is trying to provide all possible options because this way maybe things will not go well for the SPS coin. Probably the SPS holders will not be supported because if it happens then the Dec holder will be able to buy easily. Those who want SPS to grow should not support this proposal and currently, I can see that only 44% of people have supported it. The remaining 56% have booked against the proposal and there are 6 days remaining for the proposal to stay open.

I am one of the SPS coin holders and I will always support any initiative that creates more demand for the coin in the market. If there is any proposal that does not drive the demand for the SPS then I will not support and for this reason, also I have not supported this proposal.

I have voted for this SPS proposal but my vote is against the state because I do not want this proposal to be passed. SPS is a high-value coin and I think there has to be a controlled distribution with an increase the demand then only we can see it growing. If it will be easily available for everyone in the game to earn more SPS then we can see a similar situation that we are seeing with Def tokens. Supply and demand both are important parts of any token economy and to add more value to the ecosystem it is required to control the distribution. While the distribution is important we should also focus on the increasing demand for the coin in the market.

As I have confirmed that I do not support this proposal because of the reason that I only provided but I will also keep a close track of the progress. Honestly, I do not want this proposal to be passed and hopefully, some wheels will also share the same thought because they will not prefer to get the token price lower after some changes made by the team.

There are so many good things in the game and I believe most of these should be purchasable through SPS only. This methodology will work in the favor of SPS and we can expect the price to grow significantly but again their highest proper planning and strategy are in place. In my opinion, it is very important to cast our vote so that they know that the community is active and our holding is counted towards the implementation or injection of the proposal. If you are not okay with the proposal then vote against it and if you are supporting then vote to support but everyone should take action from their side.
