Tokens I am Accumulating/Staking in Splinterlands

Splinterlands is such a fantastic game that is beyond entertainment as we can earn real money with the game. When I told my mother that I earn real money through this game then she was like- do I know what I am talking about. How can one earn while playing and trust it's not her mistake because she has never seen it happen. Technology has evolved and we are in the era where games are not just for fun instead it's even for the investment and we can earn a decent income through games. We have so many examples here on splinterlands who are doing amazing and even I am earning but it's not a big amount however I am happy with whatever I earn and I even re-invest for even better returns in the future.

There are three tokens in the splinterlands ecosystem and these are-

• SPS (Spllintershards)
• DEC (Dark Energy Crystals)
• SPT (Splintertalk)

1-SPS (Splintershards)

This is the latest token launched by splinterlands and it's a governance token. This was launched in late July last year and since then airdrop has been going on and the criteria were decided based on assets held in the game including cards, packs, DEC, SPT, lands, etc. Since this is the governance token of the game so we can expect better and added benefits with the token and as of now it's paying a very good APR of approx 50%. Earning 50% APR is awesome and I think it's a very good option to go for this is why all my tokens are staked and I do the staking every day.

This is my SPS holding as of today and I am hoping that by the end of airdrop I should be able to have 15k SPS in my account and if I can buy some then probably I can reach close to 20k holding. SPS is a good choice to hold and earn passive income and I will continue to do the same and current reward is paid in form of SPS and Voucher token. SPS will also be part of the reward soon and even with node sale a good amount of SPS tokens are burnt which is reducing the supply.

2-DEC (Dark Energy Crystals)

DEC token is like a currency in the game that we can use to buy cards and packs in the game. I have 246k DEC and it's pretty close to 250k. All these tokens are earned by playing the game and this stake also helped me to get more SPS tokens every day because more points are given for DEC holding.
I am not too sure how my DEC earnings will be after the recent change in the reward system but I hope it will be good for the reward mechanism and distribution. We can earn this token within the game through daily quest and season rewards and also we can earn it through rental which is doing good.

3-SPT (Splintertalk)

I have been accumulating SPT tokens for more than 1 year and at that time I was not even aware this can be helpful for me to have more SPS tokens. SPT token we can earn through content creation and whatever I earn, I stake and delegate to @monster-curator and this I get paid delegation reward every day. This is a great team that is doing good with SPT and I keep on increasing my stake and delegation a few times a week or whenever I see liquid tokens in my account.

Here is the snapshot of my SPS holding and I hope that by end of this year I should be able to have 200k SPT power in my account. This token does not have specific use case but if there is any in the future then probably the price will increase.

So these are the tokens I am accumulating and staking for passive income in the game. I have a long-term vision with all the tokens but am bullish on SPS because I expect that once airdrop is over then its price will spike and even if it gets the Binance listing then 1$ SPS is not far away. There are many new players coming into the game and this is good. When existing players invest and even new people are coming then it will make the game platform even bigger and we can expect better gaming and earning potential in the future.
