Building Splinterlands DECK's.....

Lately, a variety of changes are happening within the game of SPLINTERLANDS. Different ways are being established, reward system has seen a drastic change which is increasing user activities across the game. Seems like, the feedback is also positive with the recent changes happening within the game.

Watching all these changes happening within the game and seeing some of my fellow users who are knee deep in the game of Splinterlands, who I knew from the very beginning of my HIVE (STEEM) journey, it is being difficult for me to resist myself to get into Splinterlands once again. Which is why I decided to buy cards once again. The reason I have stepped down from playing Splinterlands was of time issue and I was not a very dedicated person top games. But time changes and so did I perhaps!

Before I decided to jump in on the game, I decided to some research and do a rough estimate how far will I be able to go with what I have atm. First step : I had chats with few Splinterlands veterans and as always, they were supportive towards my decision. Although, I am being told, as of now it is going to be very very difficult for me to get to a decent position with the amount of money that I am willing to spend in the game atm. But like they all said IT IS BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!

Since, I will have to invest the whole money, so it is going to take a lot of time. While I can get into the game quite easily with the assets that I have. I mean I have DEC and SPS in my wallet. But than again I do not want to sell those off to get into the game. As somehow I have gotten attached to those two assets lol. Yeah, it might sound funny but it is what it is lmao. But until then there are few ways which I am initiating which will help me to get into the game faster. For starters I am going to work on the deck of Chaos Legion. As it is easier to build a deck of Chaos legion than of other edition cards. And since the price of DEC is below pegged it will take much lower amount in terms of $$ to build a max deck in Chaos legion.

• RENTING OUT CARDS : Well, since I was in the game before and seems like I did not sell my entire collection. So there are few decent cards available in my account. Since the deck are not fully available I have decided to give them out to rent. This way I am going to get some DEC from rent and I am going to purchase the cards from that income. The reason I am giving my cards out to rent is because I have tried playing with my current cards but it was in vain. So decided to take this path and slowly pave my way to the top.

• ONE DECK AT A TIME : Since there are various types of cards available and it is quite impossible for a user to get the whole deck at one go, unless you have thousands of free money just waiting in your account. It is better to get from low to high. So common cards at a go and slowly pave the way to the top. In the mean time, I was advised to continuously search for good deals. They do pop up in the radar once in a while. Sometimes you get some very decent deals, which does helps once in a while.

• MONSTERMARKET.IO Get instant 3% cashback for every cards purchase I have been using monstermatket for my card purchases. As one of the reason is I get cashback everytime I am purchasing my cards. It have been like this, I am purchasing cards and seems like the cashback gets to a decent amount and I am using those cashback to buy back the cards. Although, I am buying in a very low amount but cashback does helps a lot. Just imagine, if I get to purchase in a big amount the cashback is also going to be great for starters.

If I am being honest, I wish I could go to past and undo the mistakes which I made related to my Splinterlands account. But what is done can not be undone. I will just feel bad for myself. Time to let go of those unforsaken memories of the mistakes. Instead let me focus on what can be done and get to the floor of SL as soon as possible.

My current estimated assets in Splinterlands are probably nothing compared to the OG's. Splinterlands has been one of my biggest investments so far. SPS (staked), DEC (waiting for peg), Node (Own Multiple) and the recent wish to hold a max DECK of Splinterlands. It might take some time but it is good to start somewhere!
