#38 - Receiving Downvotes For No Reason?

So today, just like any other day, I would open the forums to check my posts on the Splinterlands and ONEUP groups to look at what people are talking about and if there were any replies to my posts.

To my surprise, I saw downvotes for 2 of my Splinterlands/Hive posts by the same person (whom I don't wish to tag) and one actually resulted in a negative SPT on Splintertalk for my posts. (Not sure what happens - does it mean my SPT balance and my curators' SPT balance will be deducted?)

I am not sure what the reason was but I don't see what was wrong in any of these posts. One post is on card delegation and another one talks about wallets and hive engine tokens. Both are not spam posts. There were also no comments from the person who downvoted.

Like most of us, we all take effort to write posts to share about experiences, sometimes our joys, sometimes our frustrations. So it's disappointing to see why people will choose to downvote legitimate posts. Moreover, such a move not only affects the writer of the post, but I think it also affects the curation rewards for the curators too.

Anyway, just want to share my thoughts so thanks for reading. At the same time, I do appreciate those who have upvoted my posts or interacted with me in any way within this community. Life goes on and I will still continue to write about my Splinterlands experience as well as other stuff I enjoy. Let us all try to be kind to one another. :)
