Brawl Battle VS Quora Toweshead

avatar

Hello everyone, this post is sharing a Brawl Battle against a strong opponent and against a card I like a lot, Quora Towershead, but that is not yet part of my card collection.

I like to participate in Brawl Battles and whenever I can I use a Gladius card because they are very strong cards and we always wait to see if they can apply their main ability Bloodlust and change the course of the battle.
Right now the Brawl Battles allow you to earn merit points that you can exchange for Gladius packs and the Guild receives Crown points that allow you to upgrade buildings within the Guild.
Bloodlust is a very interesting ability, in Ranked Battles we can see this ability on the card Grum Flameblade and in the future we will have another card with this ability, Jared Scar from Splinter Life that I believe will be a very desired card by players.

In this battle we couldn't use Neutral cards, and we had plenty of Mana available to make up the formation for the battle.
In light of this, I had to see which of my Gladius cards was the best fit for this battle.
Larissa Kerato was a good option because she had Double Strike, and in order not to have Debuff in her attack, Delwyn Dragonscale would be a good combination for this battle.

There were many possibilities for this battle, using Djinn Chwala as a tank gave a slight security against Melee attacks due to the Thorns skill and its high health points, it could withstand some attacks at the beginning of the battle.
In the second position Djinn Oshannus would be the substitute for Djinn Chwala as the battle unfolded, having Void ability gave some security to Magic attacks, and gained Summoner's Buff which made it a very aggressive card.

In third position, a card that I like to use a lot in battles with high Mana available, the goddess of the seas, Nerissa Tridawn with a lot of damage, makes a big difference in battles.
In the fourth position, enters my card Gladius, Larissa Kerato, if you don't have Debuff, Magical attacks by the opponent will be a destructive card in this battle.

My cards had a weak point, armor that was non-existent in most of them with the exception of my tank, then in the fifth position Venari Wavesmith comes in to complement the armor with his skill, and finally Ice Pixie with Flying skill gave some security to Sneak and Opportunity attacks, allowing Larissa Kerato to apply Bloodlust and make the difference in this battle.

When I saw the name of my opponent, I noticed that he was a very strong player who usually also makes publications about the game and sharing his battles, I understood that it would be a very complicated battle.
Seeing in battle Quora combined with Scarred Llama Mage summoner gives a lot of fear, because it is very difficult to eliminate Quora, then Bloodlust ability combined with Last Stand becomes almost impossible to shoot Quora, everything depended on my card Gladius apply Bloodlust before Quora gain Last Stand ability.
It will be a very difficult battle, but without Debuff to my Magic attacks, it is possible to fight the battle.

Starting the battle...

My cards will concentrate the first attacks on Mycelic Slipspawn and due to Scarred Llama Mage giving Buff +2 health points, my card Larissa Kerato fails to apply Bloodlust in the first round, where it is Nerissa Tridawn who ends up eliminating Mycelic Slipspawn.
Despite this the round went well, where I had a numerical card advantage, and a slight speed advantage.

In the second round Larissa Kerato manages to apply Bloodlust and already makes the fight balanced against Quora, and I manage to eliminate two cards of the opponent, without having lost any card of my formation, but Djinn Chwala gets a health serum and this is a bad sign, because it will give Quora the opportunity to apply Bloodlust, and being Goblin Psychic as a tank, soon Quora will apply Last Stand ability and this is very bad for me because it will make it almost impossible to eliminate.

In the third round Quora applies Bloodlust eliminating Djinn Chwala with his Magic attack and thanks to Djinn Oshannus' basic armor the Melee attack doesn't hit health points which is very important, because at this point Quora is very enraged and breaks everything in front of her. With 4 Magic and Melee attacks having in total 21 health points with Heal skill, she can heal 7 health points each round, which makes it very difficult to be eliminated at this point of the fight.

So the fourth round will be decisive in the battle, Quora can't apply Bloodlust again and I have to be able to eliminate her this round.
Incredibly, my cards are all Magic attack cards that don't miss their target, and their attack total does 21 damage, which allows me to eliminate the enraged Quora.
And that's what happens, a battle on the edge, and 1 point of damage made all the difference in the fate of this battle, and fortunately I managed to win this battle with a lot of sweat.

A very rewarding battle built to the limit, it was not easy at all to win, a bit of luck mixed in, and all my cards were important in the battle, from Venari Wavesmith with Protect skill, to Larissa Kerato with Double Strike, all the attack of my team allowed me to win this battle, together we are stronger, and the Mana capacity allowed me to make this formation for the battle.
Quora is still one of my favorite cards in Brawl Battles, and I hope one day to be able to share a battle with Quora being part of my team, until then, hope that one day I can win through Gladius packs.
