Best Christmas Gift? - A Summoner's Spellbook

With Christmas coming up and my habit of getting gifts last minute, I was scrambling around to come up with ideas for my little brother, but then it hit me; I have the ability to give a really innovative gift that I would have never thought of years before:

A Splinterlands account.

This is the newest of new stocking stuffer ideas for Christmas gifts.

I will be spending some of the day making an account for him on Hive and then I'll grab the spellbook and toss a few Chaos Legion packs in there.

I remember hearing stories in years past of people who were gifted Bitcoin or Ethereum and having it be worth thousands of dollars if they held onto it long enough. I think there is potential for this to be a huge gift if held long enough despite the fact that it will only cost me around $30 between the spellbook and the packs.

With the influx of new players seeming to be continuing, Splinterlands is staying consistent in positioning itself as the number one blockchain game in the world. I have been writing about the game a ton lately, but there just always seems to be something to say about it.

If it turns out that my brother isn't a fan of the game, he can still hold the assets and get a stream of passive income for at least the next 200 days or so with the SPS airdrop continuing; though he would be insane not to find some enjoyable qualities about the game.

The best part about giving this gift is that I don't have to go to any store, carry anything, sneak anything around or wrap a single thing. It is all digital and it is all simple once you're a bit familiar with how things work on Hive.

The only issue I can identify with this is that I would have access to his keys, but seeing that I am gifting it to my brother, I hope that he can trust me that I will be deleting his keys from my records. I guess this isn't a gift you can give to just anyone for that reason, but for those closest to you, you can set them up with a starting account in what is sure to be a very successful game.
