Congrats to @neuropathy8778 I hope it helps you a little.

Each week I ask you guys a question and you have to answer to win the card. I always read them all but don't always reply. You have to answer the question or you won't be in the draw. I don't care what you say but it has to be an answer that makes sense. Trying to avoid bots.

Is it time to sell Beta cards?

I run a few accounts this is just one of them. I am going to be selling the extra cards that are on the 3rd account. I am glad to see the value is high and it might go up more. But also soon there will be new cards. Those might make the market for Beta go down a little. So I think it is time to sell some of what I have. Mind you right now plan is to sell about 20% to 30% of my collection that is all. This account will keep doing these giveaways.

What card can you win this week?

Captain's Ghost is a great card for the higher mana matches.

I would say yes, but I don't own any beta cards.

If you want to cash out now, the best time would be before Chaos Legion is released. However, If you hold them until Chaos Legion sells out, then Beta cards would likely be worth even more. So, it really depends on whether you want to cash out now or cash out for even more in about a year.

That said, I could use the help leveling that card. This is the account I use to play as well.

For my own interest, I would say, don't sell, just do more giveaways :o). Kidding aside, when you have an abundance of unused cards and you don't want to rent them out, sell them. the market will go down at some point (and it will go up again 😀). You can cash out a little and use it, when the time is right.

I've always loved the beta cards. But your decision sounds about right. After CL and dice having their own ranked, Mylor and Lorna will pick up like anything.

If such card is a duplicate one and there is no significance in your side why not sell it. If you think that it has still use, just keep it and dispose it anytime when you have no use of such card.

If you don't need the cards, I would sell a part of your collection. In this case you don't loose on a cash out if you think the market might crash in the future.
You could even buy them back when Chaos releases and the beta card price goes down a lot ;), if this happens.

I am a hoarder so I don't think I'll ever sell my card unless I'm going to quit, I'd prefer to put it to rent instead but everyone has their playstyle tho.

I think it is better to hold them, but in my case I don't have any

I couldn't find the question, unless it was "What card can you win this week?" (Captain's Ghost) @sbenbow-splinter

I agree that when the new cards are released that the value of existing cards will go down (supply and demand). I also think that some of the higher value cards will drop as they make gameplay more even wih new cards, and that some of the new cards will be the "must have" ones.

note sure if prices would still go up but selling half and taking some profits would be a nice strategy

I'm new player and don't have much knowledge, but I have heard Beta and Promo cards won't be used in ranked battles in future. If that's the case then for sure their price will go down

Depending on the market value, I believe that it pays to sell the cards you have repeated, for example, you could make some money with them IGN: shiftrox

I think it might be a good time to sell, if you're also ready to reinvest your DEC. The price of DEC is going to come down at some point, so might as well collect and use it now while it has so much extra buying power.

I think Beta cards will dip during Chaos Legion release, but will spike back up to an ATH after Chaos Legion is finished printing.

Some cards will definitely become less relevant. Like, imagine if a 'new' Cerberus (In the sense of a self healing Fire tank) was printed? Its value would plummet (though it would still probably be expensive) There's some definite risk there, but I think a lot of Chaos Legion is going to focus on interesting counters and meta changes to Untamed card sets and metas specifically.

I haven't been playing long, but I would hold onto cards that are Beta simply because the market right now has only been going up. @kyuki

not really long in this business, so no elaborate answer, but i would go with do not sell, as price might go up and demand would still be high, as long as those cards are necessary for proper battle lineup :) my ign is @dusi

if the cards you plan to sell are:

  • cards you don't use
  • cards you have multiple copies of

then I would say yes. better to sell them now than risk their value going down.

my ign is the same as in game, happypechay

I think I would only sell a few with many copies in my deck. But not all.

I'd say yes to selling the Beta cards. Still HODL some because I'm aren't sure how they will be able to be used in the future and they will only become rarer over time. @ninjobu

Congratulations to @neuropathy8778 for winning the Efreet Elder!

That is a complicated question. I think you are thinking more along the lines of "Is it the BEST time to sell Beta cards?". Unfortunately, you will not know the answer to that question to that until after the opportunity has past.

I would !LUV to upgrade my Captain's Ghost.

Sell if you must, but I think things might keep going up. But you could use the proceeds to improve your deck.
One of favorite cards you are giving away. I'd love to win if I'm not too late.

I think demand is only going to be increasing, because there are more and more players.
But soon there will be more supply with Chaos Legion coming out.
I think there are so many unknowns with Chaos Legion and the Land Expansion, that I have no idea what's going to happen.
It might be good to have some DEC stockpiled to invest in CL though.
Maybe I should start thinking about selling my extra reward cards, since I don't have many Beta cards.
