Make choices while playing the Splinterlands.

For over a year, I've been playing Splinterlands. I've seen many changes and updates implemented by the Splinterlands development team. And, in my opinion, all of them are promising in terms of asset enhancement. Every update forces Splinterlands players to develop new strategies and choices. However, in general, all of the changes implemented are in line with what many players desire.

During that long journey, I collected approximately 300 collectible cards. I should have been able to enjoy the pleasures of renting out cards with the cards I accumulated. But I still need a lot of collection power to play in the top league right now. Fortunately, the most recent changes made by the splinterlands team made it easier for me to pursue the collection power target. However, playing Splinterlands forces me to decide which option is the best.

Modern or wild?
The players can choose between wild and modern game modes. And, out of the two options, I chose to play in modern mode. Because most of the cards in my collection are from the most recent series.

My card collection ranges from the untamed series to the dice series to the chaos series. Also, by playing in modern mode, the power of the collectibles I have increased. Compare that to the power of my current 38500 CP collection. I'm only in silver III if I play in wild mode. Then, in modern mode, with the strength of the collection, I am already silver I. Of course, I choose the modern mode because by adding a little power from renting a card, I am already in the Gold III league.

However, playing in modern mode has consequences. I believe the competition is fierce in modern mode. Even in the beginning, I did not encounter bots in modern mode. This may be due to the bot system failing to accommodate the most recent splinterlands update.

Renting or playing cards?
For the time being, the new policy that rewards battle rewards in the form of SPS rather than DEC is bound to have an impact on the Splinterlands ecosystem. It brings good fortune to the card owner who rents it out. Because the rental payment system only accepts DEC and credit cards When combined with the rise in DEC prices, which are now approaching the standard price, 1k DEC is equivalent to 1 USD.

Indirectly encourage owners of card assets to deciding whether to play their cards or rent them out for a good return. It will be challenging to figure out which one is the best if you choose. Each player has their motivation. It could be because you don't have time to play; you can simply rent it out, and the results must be profitable. Every day, the DEC in your account will increase. However, keep in mind that the rental price you set must be correct for your card to be affordable to the tenant.

Alternatively, you can play it and compete for daily focus chest rewards and season end chests. Of course, if you're lucky, you might get a legendary Gold card prize, which will boost the value of your collection's strength once more. I also wished to open a chest and find a GFL card inside. Because the greater the value of your collection's strength, the greater the results obtained. Either through battle or by renting it out.

SPS or DEC?
What is certain is that, for the time being, cardholders definitely benefit from the discontinuation of DEC as battle rewards and chests prizes. Because scarcity raises the price of DEC. However, this does not imply that the SPS you receive today is meaningless. Despite the fact that the SPS prize is still awarded, it is now in the form of a stake. As a result, Splinterlands players, you need to start collecting SPS. With the release of the latest series, namely the riftwatcher, which can only be purchased with SPS and vouchers, the price of SPS is expected to rise.

So, those are some of the decisions I've made so far after playing Splinterlands. Perhaps you've also made the best decision in the splinterlands. There are numerous other options, such as buying a card or opening a pack, purchasing a pack in-game or from the market, and so on.

But, whatever you decide, make sure the goal is best for you and capable of rapidly increasing your assets. Hopefully, all future updates from the Splinterlands team will provide comfort to both old and new players.

🍃 Much appreciated. Terima kasih banyak. Muchas gracias. 🍃
