How to Make Monsters with Magic Reflect Ability More Effective and Protect the Team from Their Back Damage? | Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!

Monsters with the Magic Reflect Ability are monsters that can be very effective and very brutal against Magic Attack Monsters because when hit with Magic damage, do reduced Magic damage back to the attacker.

Monsters with the Amplify Ability can make Magic Reflect Ability Monsters become more effective and more brutal in battles because Monsters with the Amplify Ability increase Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns damage to all enemy monsters by 1.

Monsters with the Magic Reflect Ability and the Amplify Ability can be really very brutal to Magic Attackers when used together. Monsters with the Void Ability can defend themselves against their brutal attacks or take less damage because Monsters with the Void Ability reduce the damage from their Magic Attacks.

I will share my two battles about these abilities, I hope you like it.

Battle Link

• Taking Sides rule means Neutral Monsters may not be used in battles.
• Wands Out rule means only Monsters with Magic attack may be used in battles.
• Counterspell rule means All Monsters have the Magic Reflect ability.

According to the battle ruleset, only Monsters with Magic Attack could be used in this battle, and also all monsters would have the Magic Reflect Ability. That's why I thought it would give my team a huge advantage if all the monsters in my team had the Void Ability in this battle, so I chose IMMORTALIS as the summoner. IMMORTALIS is a very powerful summoner that gives Void Ability and Shatter Ability to all friendly monsters and reduces the health of all enemy monsters by -1. My strategy in this battle was primarily to reduce the effect of their magic back damage, and to make the monsters on the opposing team take serious damage with both attacking and back damage and destroy them.

• Shatter Ability : Target's armor is destroyed when hit by an attack from Monsters with Shatter.

To be honest, the opposing player's strategy in this battle was very good. It was almost impossible for me to win this battle if all the monsters in the team didn't have the Void Ability. My strategy in this battle worked pretty well and my team was able to easily defeat a pretty powerful team thanks to my strategy. Also, in this battle, my team did not take any damage from Magic Reflect.

In Magic Attack battles, Monsters with the Magic Reflect Ability cause the opposing team to take almost 1.5 or 2x damage each round. Because they both inflict damage by hitting the target and inflict damage with back damage. However, Monsters with the Void Ability can be protected from magic back damage.

In such a battle, if my team had a Monster with the Amplify Ability, I could win this battle much easier. For this, I need to level up my Summoner first, so I want to level up my IMMORTALIS card to 2 as soon as possible. Additionally, I would like to point out that only level 2 QUEEN MYCELIA has the Amplify Ability in the Earth Unit.

The battle lasted only 5 rounds, while all monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, only one monster on my team could be destroyed. This battle clearly shows how well the Void Ability works in such battles. I recommend watching this great and challenging battle in the video or battle link, so you can see how effective the Void Ability is in certain battles.

• Weak Magic rule means Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health.
• Keep Your Distance rule means Monsters with Melee attack may not be used in battles.

After reviewing the last 5 battles of the opposing player before starting the battle and considering the ruleset of the battle, I guessed that the opposing player would prefer the Magic Attack Monsters. That's why I prefer OWSTER ROTWELL as the summoner in this battle. OWSTER ROTWELL is a Summoner that gives the Magic Reflect Ability to all friendly monsters. This way, all monsters in my team would have the Magic Reflect Ability, and I added CABALIST with the Amplify Ability to my team without hesitation so that they could be more effective in battle.

The opposing team was much stronger than I expected and the opposing player's strategy was really good. This battle was much tougher than I expected, but my team won this battle even though it was pretty tough. Especially the magic back damage to the opposing team played a big role in my winning this battle. Magic Attack Monsters on the opposing team took back as much damage as they did to my team, making it easier to destroy them.

Since there was a Monster with the Amplify Ability on my team, Monsters with the Magic Reflect Ability returned almost the same damage they took from Magic Attack Monsters as magic back damage. This gave my team a huge advantage in battle.

The battle lasted 6 rounds and it was a really tough battle. It was wise for the opposing player to opt for VAMPIRIC BLOSSOM with Oppress Ability and QUEEN MYCELIA with Protect Ability in this battle and they would almost overturn my entire strategy. Frankly, CABALIST with the Amplify Ability played a big role in my winning this battle. I recommend you to watch this wonderful and quite challenging battle from the video or battle link and you can see how effective it is to use Magic Reflect Ability and Amplify Ability together in such battles.

• Protect Ability : All friendly Monsters gain +2 Armor.
• Oppress Ability : Does double damage when attacking an enemy that has no attacks.
