Splinterlands, opening chests and untamed booster pack

I ended last season in the Gold League, where I am capped. I ended outside the top 30 leader board, thus did not get any booster pack awards.

The new season, I started in Silver league and decided at first not to advance, in order to make it onto the top 30 leader board, to get some booster pack rewards.

This however turned out to be an up and down battle for me. At a stage, I advanced to the number 3 spot on the leader board, but dropped back again t o below 30. I found that for battles I win, I just score about 3 points, but when I loose, I loose big at around 30 points. This has the effect that one need to fight long and hard to rise on the leader board, but one loss and all your efforts has been eradicated.

I thus decided to advance to the gold league, where I advanced through the ranks quite quickly and am now playing in Gold League I, where I am capped.

Currently I am still not on the leader board, but I reached number 56 at a stage, however, I did fall back again. It however seems that I could get to the top 30 with some hard work!!
