#Splinterlands - No Where to be seen on the WWW in Earn2Play!!!
Today I thought I would just like to Google Play2Earn to see where Splinterlands feature. I only typed in Play2Earn and then checked out the first websites that came up!!
The first site playtoearn.net has a list of 50 games, but to my shock and even disgust Splinterlands does not feature at all in the top 50!! Below is a screen shot of the first few games on their list, you can check out the site yourself.
Then I moved to the next site Coinmarketcap where again #Splinterlands did not feature, and note the heading Best NFT Games List!!
Then I moved to the third site on the list that came up hackermoon, guess what, again no #Splinterlands !!
Axie infinity is on top of each list, but our favourite Play2Earn game are not featuring!! Now I know the game grew exponentially lately, which is great for the game. This must be through word of mouth which is also great, but why are we not on any of the lists??? The fact that we are not on the lists is not good for us and the future of our beloved game, the other games will surpass the first game to use NFT's very quickly if we are not visible.
I do however see that if you search #play2earn in Facebook a #shareyourbattle does come up second on the list!! At least the #shareyourbattle initiative is giving us some exposure!! Even on Twitter you don't find Splinterlands anywhere near the top if you search #play2earn!!
We also know that it is not easy for new players to get started, unless you are willing to invest quite a bit of money!! This may lead to players leaving Splinterlands.
I really hope that Splinterlands will keep on growing, but looking at what I have seen above, this might not be the case and the game could stagnate, which I hope will not be the case!!
I would like to hear your views on this.
In the mean time keep on battling and share those games to make our favourite game more visible out there!!

Interesting finds, though am less baffled with the results from Google.
More like searching for Bitcoin and the possibility of finding scam related articles and we can't really say Hive isn't doing well but where's it on the map basically it's being over looked.
Probably less than 10% of the world's population is involved in crypto or blockchain gaming.
Splinterlands is having its little share of attention which for the sake of us invested in it should keep growing.
It is tougher for new players to grow compare to a year ago when I started but the chances of investing a couple of dollars in Splinterlands and not lose it all is quite reasonable compare to what I see in crypto groups people acting like they are professional traders and losing money.
How is your wife doing with the game? Have you try delegating cards to her just to boost her to play in Silver league, with your support she should be doing fairly okay.
She is still suffering, I did give her a few cards, but I think I should give some more!! (Currently I am doing most of her playing!!)
I created a second account I think 3 weeks ago 😅 am struggling there too but I have been able to stay on Bronze II by delegating cards from my main account.
Depending on how long you've been playing, a second account is a great idea. It's where I park all of my gold foil cards, really. We get a lot through rewards and packs so sometimes it's hard to have it all sit there. An alt is perfect!
I wish I took this move earlier, I only created a second account earlier this month when I saw posts of Splinterlands players having a second account.
It is still very slow in growth at this stage and with no pressure on myself I will keep growing it bit by bit.

It's good but try not to spend too much time and effort building it up. Use it as a secondary account to gain additional quests. What I did on my alt is just focus one element to be the star there and build it based on that. I don't use Life on my main account but I have my Life deck built up well on my alt so that I can guarantee myself some wins at least, and some daily quests that turn out to be pretty easy.

I think it's a bit of a coordinated effort to keep an atmosphere and ecosystem like Hive which is more decentralized than so many others, out of the headlines. Might be a bit of paranoia but I think that's more the case. If you look at the state of the dApps, we are number one in transactions I believe and we recently passed Tron in transactions because of the volume of people we have on here and playing Splinterlands. That speaks volumes but is largely ignored.
Thankfully we have some pretty good investors in the game in the gaming industry so we should do well in the end.

It very interesting review for finding the value and popularity of crypto earnings games and splinterlands disappointed you not being listed at top, may be the reason for investing first there.
It could be.
I noticed that with YouTube influencers too (like Altcoin Daily); my guess is that they are getting kickbacks for not presenting games like Splinterlands. Just a hunch, however, and I do think Hive for whatever reason is completely ignored by influencers for the most part. Some smaller channels are getting more engaged with the game, but I haven't seen any big "guys" mention it (but if I missed one, please let me know!)
