Splinterland's weekly Battle Challenge : Retaliate

This week Splinterland's weekly battle featured the "Retaliate" and I really love this ability of the monster. (Though in real life , I was pretty want to Retaliate some DV with DV then I thought mute serve best for health ,VP and mental peace.)

" Serpent of the Flame" is my favorite monster because of its high swiftness , and it got additional "poison" ability (Look like it really believe in taking revenge and make enemy monster to pay for it's action) at level 3.

Additionally, it come with some high health, that make it really cool to take the hit and punish it back.

On a positive note, it's high swiftness causes sometime enemy monster to miss it and it peacefully avoid the conflicts.

So I got the below ruleset for my match

Frankly speaking this ruleset do not give any additional advantage to this monster but as I already mentioned this monster is really a champion and in whole battle it "retaliated" 5 times , poisoned one and overall responsible for killing (or getting them killed) three enemy monster. (Thank God it is not human, and it's game only).

My team in order:
Malric Inferno(Summoner ), Serpent of the flame, Flame Monkey, Fire Beetle, Goblin Shaman, Flame Imp and Kobold Miner.

Opponent Team in Order:
Pyre (Summoner) , Cerberus, Fines Rage, Kobold Miner, Serpentine Spy and Goblin Fireballer.

Why I choose this team?

Serpent of the flame is main hero here, I choose Flame Monkey to repair the armor of Serpent of Flame, since there is no healing so armor repair will be good option for 1 mana. Fire beetle to snipe enemy monster and it's other purpose is to be fodder for enemy snipe monsters protecting my Goblin Shaman and Flame Imp. Goblin Shaman is nice with "slow" and "weaken" ability, Flame Imp look me best monster to fill in for 3 mana from remaining 3 mana monster. Kobold Miner is to launch sneak attack at enemy camp and it look me best option in 2 health as Malric Inferno give +1 melee attack to it.

Opponent is down with 2 monster and I lost my flame monkey.

After end of round 2, opponent Kobold Miner is lone survivor and there is no glory to see him also getting killed.
