On #Splinterlands, whenever I encounter Melee Mayhem battles, I always expect the opponent to use Mylor Crowling (when Earth Splinter is available for the specific battle). πŸ€”

That's why I use Sand Worm as my primary damage dealer. πŸ€“

I use Sand Worm as the primary damage dealer for Melee Mayhem battles because when Mylor Crowling is used by the opponent, the Sand Worm either hits and deals 5 damage and receives 2 Thorns damage, or misses (because of low Speed) and receives no damage. πŸ€“

The reason why I put Flesh Golem in the middle slot is to give the Sand Worm more time to hit the Monsters at the back of the opponent's team before the worm is forced to be at the frontline. πŸ€“

My own team's backline does not look well-protected though. πŸ˜…

I was very curious why the Living Lava card was not in the first place. Never come across a match like this before

The Living Lava being at the third or fourth position is actually a bad idea, even if the Battle Rule has Melee Mayhem, Super Sneak, or Equal Opportunity. πŸ€“ It is because it is supposed to absorb the damage coming from the opponent's Ranged or Magic Monsters, and it can't perform its Tank Role in the middle of the Monster lineup. πŸ€“πŸ€“
