Greetings, my very dear readers, perhaps some of you may have noticed, I am implementing another approach. My previous drawing Wood Nymph for me was very good and I love it. But every day the competition is tighter and for me it is a great honor to participate with these great artists.

I did a little experiment taking into account many factors and applying a couple of things I practiced during the week, I look for ways to always innovate and to give you my best work.

Most notable changes:

• the character covers more space in the overall image.
• More solid shadows
• more use of textures
• a different way of drawing the hair.

I think the result was good, anyway I always try to give you the best of me, without more to say, let's start!

Saludos, mis muy apreciados lectores, tal vez algunos lo pudieron notar, estoy implementando otro enfoque. Mi dibujo anterior Wood Nymph para mí fue muy bueno y lo amo. Pero cada día la competencia es más reñida y para mí es un gran honor participar junto a estos grandes artistas.

Hice un pequeño experimento teniendo en cuenta muchos factores y aplicando un par de cosas que practique en la semana, busco la forma de siempre innovar y para entregarles mi mejor trabajo.

Cambios más notorios:

• el personaje abarca más espacio en la imagen total.
• Sombras más sólidas
• más uso de texturas
• una manera diferente de dibujar el cabello.

Creo que el resultado fue bueno, de igual forma siempre trato de entregarles lo mejor de mí, sin más que decir, ¡empecemos!

Reference card

Sketch

I always try to do something original, without being an exact copy of the card, so I decided not to add the spear.

Siempre busco hacer algo original, sin que sea una copia exacta de la carta, por eso decidí no agregar la lanza

yes...you noticed...the little tongue haha, it's my favorite part of the drawing, I think it gives an innocent touch to the character.
sí... ya lo notaron...la lenguita haha, es mi parte favorita del dibujo, creo que le da un toque inocente al personaje

And as in all my drawings I always add a reference :O , do you know what those runes are from? I'll tell you at the end of the post :P

Lineart

I was undecided whether to do the drawing with lineart or without it, in the end I decided to do it with lineart... I start with the little tongue XD

Estaba indeciso si hacer el dibujo con lineart o sin él, al final decidí hacerlo con lineart... empiezo por la lenguita XD

Use the same brush as usual with the hardness set to 100%.The hair is not lineart, I am experimenting with another way of doing hair.

Use el mismo pincel de siempre con la dureza al 100%. El cabello no lleva lineart, estoy experimentando otra forma de hacer el cabello

Color

A layer of gray color helps not to tire the eye, I start with the background drawing the details and using the luminosity effect.

Una capa de color gris ayuda para no cansar la vista, empiezo por el fondo dibujando los detalles y usando el efecto luminosidad

The feet part, I'm not sure if she's wearing sock boots or nothing. so I drew her some socks and used some fabric texture for it.

La parte de los pies, no estoy seguro si ella lleva unas botas calcetines o nada. así que le dibuje unos calcetines y use algo de textura de tela para ello.

This is the base of the hair, I will finish the details later.

Este es la base del cabello, más adelante terminaré de darle detalles

Once the whole base of the character is ready, we continue with the background.

Lista toda la base del personaje, seguimos con el fondo.

This background is designed to give the highest possible contrast to the drawing.

Este fondo está pensado en darle el mayor contraste posible al dibujo

I want to give it a mix of strong and soft shades.

Quiero darle una mezcla de sombras fuertes y suaves

On top of the existing gloss. I apply another coat but with a softer brush.

Sobre el brillo existente. Le doy otra pasada pero con un pincel más suave.

To make it blend in better, I gave it a blue glow on the parts of the body exposed to light.

Para que se integre mejor le di un brillo de tono azul en las partes del cuerpo expuestas a la luz

Details of the face and body.

Detalles del rostro y cuerpo.

I really love the expression with the tongue out haha....

Realmente adoro la expresión con la lenguita fuera jaja...

This would be the second stage of the hair, after this the shadow and more details.

Esta sería la segunda etapa del cabello, luego de esto la sombra y mas detalles

At this stage, the only thing left to do is to finish certain areas by applying shadows and effects, in areas such as the layer I also used the textures, as you can see if you look closely at the image.

Ya en esta etapa solo queda terminar ciertas zonas aplicando sombra y efecto, en zonas como la capa también use las texturas se nota si vez la imagen de cerca

That's all for this week my friends, The runes in the drawing are a reference to the Frostmourne sword from the warcraft game.
I also wanted to tell you that my digitizer tablet is about to be damaged, the good news is that I can almost get a new one, I plan to rework my previous drawings with something original using the same cards.

También quería contarles que mi tableta digitalizadora ya está por dañarse, la buena noticia es que casi logro reunir para una nueva, Tengo pensado hacerle Rework a mis dibujos anteriores claro algo original usando las mismas cartas.
