Diamonds are a shark's best friend

Normally, at this point in the season, I wouldn't be all that excited about making it to the Diamond league, but I started off much lower this season and I've been actually struggling a bit to make my way back up. Especially when my older cards were unavailable to me.

The nice thing about this is that my max level cards are unlocked. It's a bit of a shame to have your cards limited in their capabilities because of your current league status.

I meant to post this yesterday, but yesterday was a bit of a rough day. I had to say goodbye to my sweet dog Ida who got very ill in a few short days and deteriorated to the point that the humane decision was to put her down. This all happened while my wife has been away visiting her mom, which isn't ideal. I'm glad I was here at least, though... this would've been a nightmare for our dog sitter to deal with.

Rest in peace, sweet girl. I'll miss you more than you'll ever know.

Oh no! Shark Monsters!

Follow me on Twitter if you dare. I post a lot while I'm playing. Sometimes it's insightful, sometimes it's... less insightful.

In Bronze, you don't need too many special ones, but a few with higher attacks or healing can definitely be an advantage. The Sea Monster card is cheap and comes from rewards, but that seems very useful to me in the Bronze league.

So I could upgrade a few of the cheaper cards.. That won't take up too much money hey.. And it should bring me out of bronze

If your summoners are level 1, there's no point in upgrading any of the cards past level 1... it's more about which ones are most useful at level 1. I got curious and took a look at your collection and I didn't see any rewards cards. In Bronze, I think the Sea Monster is useful, and the Javelin Thrower too. Basically, healing and an attack over 1 seems to be what helps in Bronze in my experience. If you only have an attack of 1 and your opponent puts up a tank with shielding, you don't even do any damage. The Goblin Mech card can be really useful in Bronze, too. If you have the mana cap for it.

Ok I get what you're saying.. I never thought about it..

Yeah I sold most of my cards. But I'm going to buy in again near the end of the month

OK one last question... All summoners are equal to each other.. I don't mean in levels or what what.. Like the fire splinter doesn't counter a spesific summoner.. And life isn't weak against the death splinter...

Is there any summoners that has advantage over another? Let me know if this makes sense xD

And I can't seem to find them on the market place.. I geuss I'll have to play and earn

I have a few smaller accounts that don't really have any extra cards beyond the starter ones, so I do know a thing or two about bronze play. I usually get any of them to Silver without any extra cards.

Although I would not say this is the case with higher levels, I actually prefer the Death Splinter when I've only got the starter cards. Because the Haunted Spirit has a decent attack AND heals, and then there's the combination of the Haunted Spider and the Twisted Jester (that's not a starter card, but it's not terribly expensive) which both have ranged attacks of 2 and don't cost a lot of mana.

I pretty much skip any quest I get in the Earth or Fire splinters with these decks because I just don't seem to have that great of luck with them without some extra cards to round out the decks.

Life is good if you get the Armorsmith card, especially in Healed out or Weak Magic battles. The Feral Spirit and Elven Cutthroat attack can be pretty good, as a lot of people don't seem to play that way in the Bronze league for some reason. You may be able to catch people off-guard.

Water can be good, too, if you get the Sea Genie and Sea Monster cards. I think you can make it with any splinter if you're lucky, though. I would just say to stick to what I said about looking for healing and attacks of more than 1 damage and you'll probably find some better luck.

@sharkmonsters thanks so much for all the help.. You really went out of your way with this.. I'm going to bookmark this message so I can come back to it when I struggle. But I'm definitely going to give it a try.

Thank you! As much as I'll miss her, I do take comfort in knowing she's no longer uncomfortable or suffering.
