That looks like a pretty cool Fire Splint Monster. I was thinking about adding a magic monster to my repertoire in Fire today as a surprise attack mode. If I use Fire 3-4 times I think my opponent would prep for a Fire Meelee and range attack. It would be a big surprise to actually attack with Fire Monsters!

I think that is a great idea since there are certain expectations that players assume for different splinters-- Fire is Melee and Range, Water is Magic and Armor, Earth is Range and Healing, Life is Armor and Healing, Death is Magic and Range, etc. So your idea about having surprise teams in your arsenal of Summoners and Monster sounds like a great way to catch other players off guard.
