Win 5 Battles with Earth Splinter

** Unfortunately the Hive server was temporarily down last night so I wasn't able to post yesterday's Daily Quest, so here it is. If I'd posted it earlier in the day I wouldn't have run into that issue, so serves me right for doing something late.**

  • Splinterlands has been kind to me lately. Once again, I have been gifted with the task of winning 5 battles with my 2nd favorite Splinter.

  • I usually use summoners that counteract my opponent's pick of Splinters and Monster choice in the Recently Played section.

  • If they use a lot of melee, I use Mylor Crowling and I pick Sporcerer to nullify any Armor, along with Mushroom Seer to counteract Magic monsters. Then I use Sand Worm and/or Mitica Headhunter to deliver some heavy damage. Lately I've been putting my Sand Worm in the middle to avoid Sneak monster attacks. Djinn Biljka goes in the back because of his Camouflage ability which basically makes him invincible until he's first in line.

  • Here's the desktop and mobile links for my winning fight today for Earth Quest, where I used a similar strategy to what I mentioned above.

  • After completing my Daily Quest I was presented with my Silver 2 League loot chests.

  • Here's what was inside:

  • Once again I have another Pelacor Duplicate, this time for Life Splinter's Pelacor Conjurer, 1 Legendary Potion, and 1 Earth Splinter's Venari Seedsmith duplicate. I will use both duplicates to level up both monster cards when I have the required number.

(Here's a maxed-out Level 10 Pelacor Conjurer from Life Splinter. His final form has Flying, Magic Reflect, Divine Shield, and Phase which means Melee and Ranged attacks have an increased chance to miss him, magic attackers receive reduced damage back after attacking him, all first attacks are ignored, and Magic attacks have a chance to miss and no longer cannot miss.)

(Here's a maxed out Venari Seedsmith at Level 8 from the Earth Splinter. Their starting ability is Scavenger but later on they get Poison as well which allows them to increase their Health every time someone dies and deal Poison damage to whoever they attack.)

  • It's all part of the excellence of Splinterlands where no card is useless--even duplicates because you can use them to strengthen the card or cards you already have. And if somehow you have maxed out the leveling of a specific card, you can max out another and rent one of them out for a payment in Dark Energy Crystals which not only can be used in the blockchain game Splinterlands but be exchanged for other crypto and even fiat if you so choose.
