All revealed UNTAMED cards so far - Let's speculate!

Welcome everyone!

I planned to do a post talking about the five revelead #splinterlands UNTAMED cards today.
Since there was no artwork of the chain golem posted, besides the two kickstarter posts, where his art was obstructed by text, I asked @yabapmatt if it was possible to get the artwork from him!

To my surprise he offered me the card in the card-frame.

What does this mean?! Chain Golem is a neutral card splinter, which we have not seen yet. That means that this is the first time any of you get to see how neutral cards are gonna look like in UNTAMED! Yay!

That is what I wanted to say, but when I googled "splinterlands untamed" I found this post by @flauwy seems thats there we first saw the UNTAMED neutral card design!

Note: We also know that UNTAMED will have 6 legendary summoners, that will be designed by kickstarter backers.

So let us start with the Chain Golem. He was first shown/announced in this @steemmonsters post.

As we know from the kickstarter, hes going to be a neutral tank unit. As for his stats we dont know anything.

Speculation: when I see his artwork I feel like he would have armor, possible even more armor than life. I also think that he would cost more than 5 mana. Since there is already Lord Arianthus as a 5 mana neutral tank. Of course he could be the same amount of mana to contest Lord A. spot, but we dont know!
I think he could even be a tank unit with reach. YES that would be crazy, imagine a 2nd tank with reach behind Lord A. So its unlikely. But "lorewise" it could be justified that he attacks with his chains and thus has a longer range.
I really like how all of the UNTAMED card frames look! They have that special something! Heres a neutral from the beta set as a comparison. (Note: there are no alpha neutrals to compare to)

Next lets talk about "Kron the Undying". He was first shown by @nateaguila in this post.

There he is! Now lets talk about something. He has a name. Like an actual name "Kron".
Why is that important? Most cards only have titles or descriptions of what they are. Only TWO monster cards have actual names. Other than that all named cards are summoners.

Now the question would be, will he be another monster card that is named? Or will he be a summoner? But if he is a summoner, that would mean that we get two different legendary summoners for the earth splinter with UNTAMED, since they sold legendary summoner design pledges in the kickstarter.
I dont think we would get two different legendary summoners, so I'll assume that he will be a monster card.
He looks like either a mage or ranged unit. His tittle "the undying" could play into the "life leech", "protect" "shield", "heal" or "ressurect" abilities.

Now we get to a card, where im 99% convinced, that she is the new death splinter summoner!
Contessa L'Ament, she was first shown by @nateaguila in this post.

Now, with Kron there is a chance that he is a named monster card, but I dont think thats possible for Contessa. Both named monsters so far have been legendaries. Since she is a rare card, Im assuming that she is gonna be the newest death summoner.

Speculation: so far the death splinter is very focused on de-buffing the enemy team, Contessa looks like a mages/necromancer to me, so maybe she would have a silence effect, meaning -1 magic attack for the enemy team. Or it might be a +1 magic damage for the own team.

Our 4th card is the first airdrop that got announced, the "Diamond Dragon"! He was first shown in this post.
This is also the first time we see how UNTAMED gold foil cards are gonna look.

As I said before I really like the card-frame design for UNTAMED, but Im not so sure about the crazy light effects in the artwork itself.
But what could a Diamond Dragon be? The dragon splinter could use another tank for sure, so far they only got the Chromatic Dragon and the Red Dragon.

Both of them are pretty expensive with 7 and 8 mana. So Diamond Dragon could be a 5-mana tank? But only time will tell what his stats and abilities will be.

And our last card, is also the newest card to have been announced! He was shown yesterday in a #steemmonsters post.

And the card is called "Gloriax Guardian".

So both the 1st and the 2nd airdrop are legendary dragon splinter cards! I know I said that the Diamond Dragon could be a tank, but, come on. This guy has GUARDIAN in the title. So its very possible that he is a tank aswell!

According to @yabapmatt he has a gigantic axe on his back. So maybe he is a strong attacker aswell!
