The Silver Shield Knight backpedaled, parrying blow after blow as the two Venari snarled and swung their swords at him in a savage and ruthless onslaught. He stumbled. Another blow sent him reeling. He fell onto his back.

The Venari leaped upon him, swords raised. He struggled to lift his own sword, but he couldn't fight them both. He was going to die.

The feathered shaft of a bolt slammed into center of each Venaris' chest simultaneously. The pair crumpled in a heap, unseeing eyes staring at the sky.

The Silver Shield Knight squinted into the sun. Above him, a Pelacor Arbalest hovered, his large white wings beating at the air. In each hand, he held an empty crossbow, still aimed at the fallen Venari.

Overview

Gold foil version has more health by default, so obviously the better option.

Stats

Abilities	Level	Description
Double Strike	1	Monster attacks twice each round.
Flyíng	5	Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability (+25% chance of evading.)

Market prices

Gold foil version has a decent price.

Gold foil version has better renting potential, than the regular one.

The Battle

Battle Rulesets	Description
Close Range	Ranged attacks may be used in the first position in battles.
Even Stevens	Only Monsters with even Mana costs may be used in battles.

Close Range info: You can use high HP or high speed Ranged monsters at position 2 (or even at position 1 if it has Heal). Choose summoners that give a bonus to Ranged attack or to speed and then choose high damage Ranged attack monsters. Beware of the possibility that your opponent might pick Lir Deepswimmer as summoner or monsters with Return Fire. High HP and Heal is the way to go in this ruleset.

Even Stevens info: There are no special tricks for this ruleset, but having an idea of mana points of a few monsters helps in predicting what your opponent can and cannot use.

Lineup

It was a low mana Close Range game so I decided to use the king of this ruleset: General Solan + Pelacor Arbalest.

Card	Strategy
	General Solan - It was a Close Range game and I wanted to play with Life summoner so he was an obvious choice. Solan is the best summoner for the Arabalest.
	Kralus - One of my favorite Life tanks, with good stats and abilities. Flying can do some missing and with a magic attack it can do some decent damage.
	Furious Chicken - The chicken was my one of the meat shields of the game, I put it cause against snipe and for the gold bonus.
	Pelacor Arbalest - Monster of the week. The main damage dealer of this game. I put around him with some monster to protect him.
	Soul Fiend - Another meat shield. Put it here against snake and the bonus. So the Soul and the Chicken save the Arbalest.

Battle - Replay

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

It was an easy win because my enemy use is only level 1 monsters. Kralus did the tank job and Arbalest did the damage stuff. My other two monsters has no importance in this game, besides the win bonus for RP and SPS :)

Do you like gold PELACOR ARBALEST? Why or why not?

I think the gold version this card is much more better than the regular one. +1 Health is a key in this card, plus additional benefit is gold foil version is renting better. So I definitely will buy a gold foil version of this card.
