Pelacor Arbalests are armed with powerful crossbows enchanted to fire bolts at extremely long distances. They are trained to wield a crossbow in each hand and can fire both simultaneously with deadly accuracy. Compounded with the Pelacor's excellent eyesight and nimble dexterity, these sharpshooters are extremely useful as snipers on the battlefield.

Overview

Pelacor Arbalest is a very interesting high-damage ranged card. The Double Strike is one of the most powerful abilities in the game. Very good against divine shield monsters. As a 6 mana card, it is expensive to play it. His main weakness (besides the ranged attack) is his very low health. We need to save him against Snake or Snipe monsters. On the other side can do a lot of damage if he survives some rounds. I suggest using higher leveled version, Level 3 and Level 5 are the key levels in survivability.

Generally, nowadays it is a cheap card.

For renting out it is not good not terrible :)

The Battle

Battle Rulesets	Description
Holy Protection	All Monsters have the Divine Shield ability.

Holy Protection info: Monsters that normally have this ability do not get it twice. The trick to winning in this ruleset is to fill all 6 slots of your lineup and use monsters with Blast and Double Strike. Use a monster or summoner that has Resurrect to use this ruleset at its maximum potential.

Lineup

I would like to play with Life summoner. My all-time favorite Lorna Shine was off the table, because of the ruleset. So I decided to select the newest one Grandmaster Rathe. It was a high mana game so I filled the board with heavy monsters.

Card	Strategy
	Grandmaster Rathe - I like him more and more every day. He is a very good defensive summoner. Most of the time the amplify has not any advance for me, but Void Armor can save my low health high armor monsters
	Sacred Unicorn - I am not using this monster very much, but it has its own potential. Self-health is always a good ability with divine shield almost guaranteed that it will be activated.
	Kralus - My off tank in this game. Most of the time I use it as the main tank but not in this game. With Grandmaster and flying ability it is a good survivor. So I selected it to keep the front if the Unicorn dies.
	Adelade Brightwing - She is the best fit for the Grandmaster. Good magic damage and Repair ability can support our team in more ways.
	Djinn Renova - My another magic support card. Plus health for everyone is always a good deal, especially if it is supported by healing abilities.
	Pelacor Arbalest - Monster of the week. He is a good fit against divine shield and can great damage if he can survive some rounds.
	Divine Healer - One of the first leveled card in my Splinterlands history. Good ability and stats for low mana price.

Battle - Replay

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

It was hard, but 100% win chance game. I selected an almost perfect team. However my Arbalest was the first killed monster in my team, he helped a lot to kill the Sea monster. Without him, it was much harder to win this game. My support team was so strong, that Unicorn could not die. Enemy selected a good summoner against me and much more high-leveled cards, but use a lot of melee monsters and that was the key to my victory. Next time maybe Renova has a better place in the back, but it is only a minor thing.

Do you like PELACOR ARBALEST? Why or why not?

I am not used very often, but he is a very good card in some rulesets. Closed Range and Equalizer are the best fit for him. For the price and renting aspect, it is an average card. In the future I will try to use him and find its potential.
