Splinterlands Battle - An Attack in The Dark

In this post I will present the Silent Sha-Vi card which is an excellent choice for battles when you want to attack your opponent's back row cards because it has the Sneak ability that makes it attack the card positioned in the last position and the cards in this position they are usually easier to defeat so attacking them can give you a big advantage in battle.

Before getting to know what the Silent Sha-Vi is like in battle, take a look at its general characteristics.

Edition: Chaos Legion

Rarity: Common

Deck: Death

Attack type: Melee

Abilities: Sneak, Cripple and Piercing

Mana Cost: 5

Power: 5 ( 1 BCX )

Because it's a common card it has 10 levels and every level it gets stronger, but currently I'm only using it at level 1 because I'm still in the bronze league, but I hope to use it at higher levels later on because it's a great card.

At the initial level he has a reasonable amount of attack, speed and life so it will be a great card that in addition to being very useful in the attack will also not be defeated easily, in the bronze league which is where I usually play he is extremely strong in battles and practically every battle with the death deck I use it and I never regret it because it is often the reason for victory.

As she has a balanced amount of attack, speed and health I wouldn't say she has many weaknesses, but I think her mana cost is something to mention because it's a bit high and in some battles it's not possible to choose her because of that.

Now I will explain her abilities which as I mentioned before are 3: Sneak, Cripple and Piercing.

imag 3.png

The first ability is Sneak and as I mentioned before it will make Silent Sha-Vi attack the opponent's card positioned in the last position and this will be very useful to defeat the back row cards first.

imag 4.png

Each time an enemy is hit by a Monster with Cripple it loses one max health. If crippled monster is cleansed, it will recover 1 health for every time it has been crippled since the last cleanse.

imag 6.png

If Melee or Ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's Armor, the remainder will damage the target's Health.

This is a general explanation of how the Silent Sha-Vi card works but for the battle that I will show for this challenge I only used it at level 1 as I mentioned before so it only has the Sneak ability that makes it attack the opponent's last card position.

Besides Silent Sha-Vi I also used other cards that I considered a good combination for him and that did very well in battle.

The summoner chosen was Drake of Arnak from the dragon deck he gives +1 shield to all my cards and this will be very useful because my opponent only used melee and ranged cards in battle.

For the first position I choose Cursed Windeku which is a very well known and useful card, it has the Thorns ability that makes a melee card take 2 damage when attacking it.

For the second position I choose the Silent Sha-Vi that will be great in the attack but if the Cursed Windeku is defeated it will serve as a good defense as well since its health is not low.

For the third position I chose Life Sapper which is a card with magic attack that has the Life Leech ability, so it will gain life when it attacks a card.

For the fourth position I chose the Undead Badger which, like the Silent Sha-Vi, is a melee card with the Sneak ability.

For the fifth and final position I chose the Soul Strangler which is a card with a ranged attack and has no abilities.

BATTLE

This battle took place in the bronze league and the deck used by me was the Dragon deck with the summoner Drake of Arnak, the deck used by my opponent was the water deck with the summoner Kelya Frendul.

In battle the summoner chosen by my opponent will increase the speed of their cards by +1 and give them +1 shield. Increasing speed will be a problem because it increases the chances of his cards attacking first and the shield it grants will be useful against most of my cards as they are melee and ranged.

My opponent has the Serpent of Eld card that has a lot of speed and the Dodge ability that increases your chances of dodging melee and ranged attacks so it won't be easy to defeat her, he also has the Deeplurker that is a melee card with the Opportunity ability that makes him attack the lowest health card, the Merdaali Guardian card has the Tank Heal ability that will heal the card positioned in the first position and the Xenith Archer is a ranged card that has no abilities.

There is no set rule in this battle.

Round 1:

In this round both sides had a shield which made it very difficult to receive damage in life since most of the cards are melee and ranged, so in this round there were no defeated cards, only exchange of attacks.

Round 2:

In this round Cursed Windeku's Thorns ability was quite useful and right after receiving the Serpent of Eld's attack he was able to defeat it, Silent Sha-Vi with her Sneak ability along with the Undead Badger are also being very useful and with their help my opponent's back row cards are taking a lot of damage.

imag 9.png

2 of my opponent's cards were defeated and none of mine.

Round 3:

In this round there are only 2 cards left for my opponent and right at the beginning the Merdaali Guardina card was defeated with the help of Silent Sha-Vi and Undead Badger so my opponent lost one of his most useful cards and now he doesn't have any more cards to help heal your other cards. Deeplurker defeated my Cursed Windeku but took 2 damage from Thorns ability, then he was defeated by Life Sapper.

1 card of my opponent was defeated and none of mine.

imag 10.png

This was a battle where cards like Silent Sha-Vi are very useful because my opponent's frontline cards weren't easy to defeat and I still had the Silent Sha-Vi card to heal them, so Silent Sha-Vi was able to dodge those cards and attack the backline ones causing my opponent to lose cards faster and this gave me a good advantage because it made my frontline cards take less damage as my opponent had fewer cards.
