Feral Spirit

Let's take a run down first of this card's lore and stats.

Feral Spirit
Edition: Alpha/Beta
Rarity: Common
Element: Life
Attack: Melee
Abilities: Sneak

Lore
Forever caught between dimensions, the Feral Spirits (and all Luminous Beasts) are the result of the Obliteration of Light, a horrible destructive event in which all the living vanished from the surface of Khymeria. These spirits do not hunger or thirst, but their fangs still bite and their claws still slash.

Line Up

Summoner: The Peakrider
Ability: All Enemy Ranged Attack monsters have -1 Ranged Attack, All friendly monsters have +3 Armor.

Feral Spirit has a relatively low HP at Level 3. So to make up for that, I used The Peakrider so that it will have an extra protection from The Peakrider's +3 Armor. I already used Lorna Shine and her Divine Shield is quite effective, too. Check the battle here. But for this battle, I want to try The Peakrider to see if this will suite my gameplay better than Lorna Shine.
Pos 1/Tank: Silvershield Knight
Ability: Inspire - Gives all friendly Monsters +1 Melee attack

My tank here is the Silvershield Knight which is the main purpose is to buff the melee attack of my monsters. It has 1 Armor only, but with The Peakrider's Ability, I think it can last up to few rounds, enough for my attackers to annihilate the enemy monsters.
Pos 2: Stitch Leech
Ability: Sneak - Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster

My Pos 2 monster is also a melee monster to benefit from Silvershield Knight's ability. My strategy is to attack the enemy back-line monsters so most of the monsters I used have sneak. Also, this will shield my Pos 3 monster, which is the Feral Spirit, from blast attack just in case the enemy has one.
Pos 3: Feral Spirit
Ablity: Sneak - Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster

My Pos 3 monster is also a melee monster to benefit from Silvershield Knight's ability and also the theme of this challenge. I put Feral Spirit to Pos 3 to protect it from Blast or Sneak Abilities, hoping that it will last long in the battle to incur more damage to the enemy back line monsters using its Sneak Ability.
Pos 4: Silvershield Assassin
Ability: Sneak - Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster, Double Strike - Monster attacks twice each round

My Pos 4 monster is also a melee monster to benefit from Silvershield Knight's ability. This card has the Sneak Ability also. Aside from Sneak, it also has Double Strike that will help my line up to annihilate back line monsters on the enemy's line up.
Pos 5: Celestial Harpy
Ability: Flying - Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability, Opportunity - Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health

I used this card because of I almost used up all my mana cap. It has only 2 mana cost and also a melee monster to benefit from Silvershield Knight's ability. Also, I would like to fill up my Pos 5 and 6 to protect Feral Spirit from Sneak attacks.
Pos 6: Pelacor Conjurer
Ability: Flying - Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability

The main purpose of this card is tank all damage coming from the back. It has good amount of HP considering that it only costs 2 mana. Its speed and ability will also be helpful in battles, hoping that the enemy will miss their attacks.

Let's Battle!

Let's discuss the battle to see areas that I should improve or what worked well.

Round 1

The enemy used Earth splinter with most of the monsters have Magic attack. The enemy used Obsidian as the summoner to give its allied monsters a +1 Magic Attack. With this kind of line up, The Peakrider's +3 armor will be useless. Thankfully, the enemy's line up consists of non-magic attack monsters, too. The Pos 1/Tank is Failed Summoner. The enemy might be thinking that I will use Magic Attack monsters or just to receive damage as much as it could while the magic attack monsters inflict damage to my line up. Unicorn Mustang is quite useless in this round because its neither attacking or taking damage from my monsters.

My strategy went well on this round because I succeeded on killing Khmer Princess and Goblin Psychic using Feral Cat and Silvershield Assassin's Sneak attack. I have also succeeded on killing Failed Summoner using Silvershield Knight and Celestial Harpy's attack. The only monster on my side that received damage in this round is the Silvershield Knight from Regal Peryton's magic attack.

Round 2

With only Chaos Agent, Unicorn Mustang and Regal Peryton on the enemy side, I can see already see victory on this match. Silvershield Knight was able to kill Chaos Knight. My monsters weren't able to bring down Regal Peryton because the attack of Celestial Harpy, Stitch Leech and one of Silvershield Assassin's attack missed, thanks to Regal Peryton's Flying ability and high Speed. Unicorn Mustang failed to attack again in this round maybe because it missed its turn because it's in Pos 2.

Round 3

Regal Peryton's magic attack just went thru Silvershield Knight's armor, inflicting enough damage to remove Silvershield Knight from the battle. Given that Silvershield Knight is gone, the melee attack of my melee monsters went back to their original number. However, this didn't prevent my monsters to kill Regal Peryton. Feral Spirit and Silversield Assassin's Sneak attack inflicted enough damage to Regal Peryton to kill it.

Round 4

The enemy's Unicorn Mustang is still fighting to regain its honor. My line up failed to kill it in this round but managed to reduce its HP to 5.

Round 5

Stitch Leech's HP went down to zero in this round and FINALLY! my line up defeated Unicorn Mustang making me the victor in this battle.

Battle Recap

The Peakrider's abilities were not very useful in this battle because mostly of the enemy's monsters used magic attack. My strategy to focus on attacking the enemy's back line monsters went well and Feral Spirit's Sneak ability contributed to that. The fact that Feral Spirit has 5 Speed also helped in securing the enemies slot to the graveyard. Thankfully, the enemy didn't put a monster with Thorn ability at the back of his/her line up or didn't use Mylor Crowling. If that is the scenario, my Feral Spirit might die first in the battle.

As for the summoner, I think I will use Lorna Shine instead of The Peakrider to summon Feral Spirit. Lorna Shine's Divine shield will be more useful because it will negate the first damage any kind of attack.
