Introduction

Hello Splinters, welcome to this week's challenge battle.

This week we're going to talk about Defender of Truth! It is a life splinter monster, costs 4 mana, with magic attack and Protect Ability at level 3+.

Lore Defender of Truth

The Defender of Truth is a powerful wizard of Khymeria, as well as an important political figure for the Order of the Silver Shield. When the Khymian warriors march to war, the Defender of Truth is their General. He inspires his troops with the divine protection of the Silver Shield.

Cards used

In this battle I chose the Mother Khala because besides few options, I prefer to prioritize the health increase over the armor increase (I face many opponents with magic attacks and armor doesn't help much)

I chose the Clay Golem because for me it's an excellent tank, with magic damage reduction and 3 damage, which is a lot

---

Right after that, I put on Defender Of Truth because it was the challenge of the week. And challenge given is challenge fulfilled :p

Divine Healer to strengthen the frontline and keep my tank alive longer.

---

And to close the backline, Peacebringer, with a lot of damage considering a level 1 card and ranged, so I wouldn't want to put him near the frontline.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

I wouldn't say the strategy worked as I thought, the opponent was far from having magic attacks, so I should have chosen armor. But I won anyway :p

Do you like the DEFENDER OF TRUTH Why or why not?

I'm sure that from level 3 onwards it must be an excellent card, with a higher magic damage, it must bother the opponent a lot.
