RULER OF THE SEAS / ART CONTEST [ENG-ESP]

First of all, a cordial greeting to all, thank you very much for coming to this publication. And grateful for any kind of support you have towards me. I decided to recreate this "Ruler Of The Seas" design, which is from my favorite card in the Splinteland game.

Antes que todo, un cordial saludo a todos, muchas gracias por llegar hasta está publicación. Y agradecido de cualquier tipo de apoyo que tengan hacia mi. Decidí recrear este diseño "Ruler Of The Seas", la cuál es de mi carta favorita en el juego de Splintenland.

🌊PROCESS-PROCEDIMIENTO🌊

Mainly I started with the creation of his face, which is not very different from the original, but I already had the idea of the recreation more or less clear.

Principalmente comencé con la creación de su rostro, la cuál no es muy diferente al original, pero, ya tenía más o menos en claro la idea de la recreación.

Continuously, I made him a little more muscular, changing his hair style, capturing his original style, taking into account that he is a merman, and that the details are that he is in the water, which we have to be careful when redesigning it and not do something crazy.

Continuamente, lo realicé un poco más musculoso, cambiándole su estilo de cabello, capturando su estilo original, tomando en cuenta que el es un tritón, y que los detalles están en que él, es que se encuentra en el agua, cosa que tenemos que tener cuidado al momento de rediseñarlo y no cometer una locura.

Another added detail was a trident, it is known that the original "Ruler Of The Seas" does not have one... But here a "magic" trident was added to be its "power source". Also another detail that was added was its folded fin, being different from the original.

Otro detalle agregado fue un tridente, se sabe que "Ruler Of The Seas" original no cuenta con uno... Pero aquí se le agregó un tridente "mágico" para que fuera su "fuente de poder". También otro detalle que se agregó fue su aleta doblada, siendo diferente al original.

Starting with the shading. I started with her face, and with techniques that I polished over time. Giving me incredible results. Unfortunately I didn't have colors to create a total work, but I hope to have a good color kit next time.

Comenzando con el sombreado. Empecé con su rostro, y con técnicas que fui puliendo con el tiempo. Dandome increíbles resultados. Lastimosamente no tuve colores para crear una obra total, pero espero tener a la próxima vez un buen kit de colores.

I am absolutely glad that I was able to capture his personality, it was very entertaining to be able to redesign this drawing. I was doing it for 12 hours straight and left my fingers a little sore, but I know this was totally worth it.

Me alegra rotundamente haber podido capturar su personalidad, fue muy entretenido poder lograr rediseñar este dibujo. Estuve durante 12 horas seguidos realizándolo y quedé con un poquito de dolor en los dedos, pero sé que esto valió totalmente la pena.

I have had this card for a few years, being my most precious treasure and my favorite ability card in the entire game. And I only have a single gold card of it.

Cuento con esta carta desde hace unos años, siendo mi tesoro más preciado y mi carta con la habilidad favorita de todo el juego. Y solo cuento con una sola carta dorada de la misma.
