RE: Runi Whitelist Announcement!

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

Is it possible to do this from mobile or through the keychain browser?

Edit: And is it possible to transfer the Runi between Eth wallets?

Edit Edit:

If I link the wallet on PC, will I be able to whitelist from the shop on mobile web (the shop is there) and spend the vouchers, or does it require another eth verification?

I believe No as you should use the same device and same browser to ease out the process.

Hey @tarazkp

I was able to connect my ETH wallet by downloading the Metamask mobile app and using it's built-in browser.
Problem with that is that you need to manually enter your Hive private key when paying the vouchers (I assume that action will need private active key), so I've set it up on an empty Splinterlands account - just to be sure

Hmmm interesting.
I am going to have to play around with it to see!
How did you test if it would sign a transaction through splinterlands?

I sent a fraction of DEC to the account, and was able to send it back, so I guess it should work.

Another option I've seen people suggest is to use a mobile browser on which you can use Chrome extensions (like the Kiwi browser). I haven't played around with that, though, so I don't have a clue how that would work.

I have it linked through MM, but I have no idea what happens when I click "buy" - will it require another transaction? If not, I would use my hardware connected wallet as the eth wallet - if so, it is impossible to do from mobile for me.

Currently, I have another wallet connected.

In my head though, it should:

  • connect wallet (requires verification in MM)
  • click buy (uses Hive private posting key to sign the Hive transaction for the voucher transfer).

All good.

But, no one can verify.

I'm just crossing my fingers it will work. If not, I'm f*cked 😆

P.S.: I'm pretty sure buying requires private active key, not posting key.
