It certainly could be. Of all in the Splinterlands ecosystem, Vouchers do not get a lot of attention.

So you might be onto something.

It absolutely has to do with the fact it is the only in game asset that doesn't provide passive income. That's why it feels like the team will need to continuously provide utility for it so that it doesn't slip into obscurity

That is true, something I didnt consider. However, there is great utility in that token as it is evident that will be used for in-game purchases. The linking vouchers to purchases ensures there will be value.

So are there going to be new innovations brought out that people want? If so, and tied to vouchers, it will likely hold more value. We could see a massive pump in it.
