The Dude's Daily SplinterLogs - 6-4 - Claiming Snipe Quest Reward! Starting the Week Off Winning!

What's happening everyone! Hope your Monday is starting off the right way. If you are paying attention to the crypto markets, maybe not so much, but if you are still in it for the fundamentals vs the pumpamentals, you will be doing okay! That's why I invest in projects with actual use case instead of vaporware or jpegs that I cannot do anything but look at.

If I am buying NFTs, it's for things that I can use like my Splinterlands deck, DCity NFTs that earn, or art and music NFTs that I can use with reproduction rights so I can use the work commercially. I am not into the speculation side of things. It's also why I am not so much of a trader or invest in coins with no fundamental value that are only being used as speculation trades, speaking at stuff like memecoins and jpeg NFTs with no use cases. If it's not earning cash flow, I don't want to own it!

That being said, this is why I am loving the fact that one of my biggest investments for this year is a game that I can play with the cards, as well as use them in business. I can rent out the cards like I would real estate, and I am also earning that sweet SPS airdrop just for holding cards, unopened packs, and the DEC in game token! It's all earning me more value, plus it's fun to learn to play! That is what these logs are all about!

It's an awesome world we live in that I can do this a part of my daily income! So enough jabbering, let's get to some action!

Starting the day out in Bronze III with at 258 rating and 4340 collection power, most bigger cards are being rented out.

Battle 1- Win

Summary:

Started out a little shaky with the other team taking out my first placed card fairly quickly in the first couple of rounds, but my magic slingers and life leeches came in to dominate the rest of the round.

Battle 2- Loss

Opposing element: Forest
Summary:

This Death/Forest battle ended up the other direction. That Unicorn is a hard mofo to beat. I needed to chose a better back card than the one I did because the low hit mana cards can't do a thing to the Unicorn. Another lesson learned is that back card needs to attack something other than the front card. Onward...

Battle 3- Win

Summary:

This was a close heat battle. Basically came down to the last card, last life, and somehow I came out on top! This one could have gone either way.

Battle 4- Win

Opposing element: Forest
Summary:

Straight DOMINATION! I didn't even take a hit the whole time. It was pretty crazy. This was a massive win. I am going to just keep going with what is working for me at the moment. Next battle!

Battle 5- Win

Summary:

And another Death vs Death win! I have found a nice combo that is doing the trick. The only change I might play with is the front man, the Cursed Windeku. I do like the thorn attack backs, it helps, but they have no shielding. But the method is working so why change now? Smashed the half way point and onward to the back half of the day!

Battle 6- Loss

Summary:

Not the biggest fan of the lower mana count battles like this, but hey you can't win them all. This Death vs Death battle ended up not so much in my favor. I clearly chose the wrong card sets for this 12 mana battle. It's all good, licking my wounds and moving ahead.

Summary:

This lower mana battle came out the right way for me this time! My crew was just too much for the small fire element team!

Battle 8- Loss

Summary:

This Death vs Fire battle didn't go as planned. They got the upper hand with the new, I am calling him Samurai jack card that takes out my rear guys pretty quick which left me a bit vulnerable. More wound licking and let's see if we can squeak out one more win to end the day with a winning record, two more battles!

Battle 9- Win

Summary:

This Death vs Fire battle ended in a victory for the Dude! This was the win I needed to set my week off on a winning record! Good stuff, now onward to the final battle of the day!

Battle 10- Loss

mana: 21
My element: Death
Opposing element: Forest
Summary:

Well the final battle of the day ended in a loss. I know what I did wrong again vs the Forest element with that damn Unicorn. I really need to use my higher magic power in that so it can do some damage. The life leeches can't leech if they can't do damage... Anyway, lessons learned that I will take into tomorrow!

Daily Wrap Up

Well today ended out in a 6-4 winning record which starts the week off right! really happy with that! I have settled down and learning some lessons of attack that I will try to take into my future battles. I am pretty caught up on this Death element strategy I am playing and going to try and perfect that before I move on to another element set. My problem has been moving between elements without figuring out one of them first.

Ended today with a 371 rating which puts me closer to Bronze II

And I completed my Snipe Quest!

So I am going to claim some rewards!

And I got a RARE Gargoya Devil card as my reward! I already own one of these so I get to level it up!
