Chaos Legion

Finally!!! Chaos Legion has arrived!!!

After months of saving for some packs, it was about time to unleash its power. I was really hyped up for its launch due to the excitement of being able to use new cards and most of all opening packs. I opened about 50+ packs and so far am very pleased with the results. I was after summoners as I am planning to use higher BCX summoners/monsters moving forward. Any epics and legendaries would be gravy.

The Summoners

I was able to get a decent amount of summoners. Though I had to FOMO in on Quix The Devious and get him from the market. He really fits on the direction on where my deck building is going. I missed on Obsidian, but I am pretty sure I have enough time to get one as well.

As luck would have it, I managed to secure enough copies of General Sloan for him to be at Level 2. On top of that I already have a Level 2 Thaddius Brood opening possibilities of including a Death Deck on my arsenal.

Legendary and Epic Pulls

I am so happy with the cards I got since I can incorporate them with my Water, Life and Dragon teams. I also got 2 copies of Queen Mycelia

With it providing good synergy with Djinn Biljka by giving him more survivability and the addition of magic users on the Earth Splinter, it is definitely one project I need to work on.

Too Early Go To Decks

It is too early know what are the meta decks. So for the time being I am just enjoying the new cards and the skills they offer. I am having so much fun that am disregarding my ECR. Just have to mention as well that am also having fun with Scattershot mechanic only when it works for me.

So far two decks that seems to be my go to strategies this early are "Life Archers" and "Dragon Earth". Pelacor Arbalest (pulled 3 and immediately bought 2 copies for level 2) has been a key component for this archetype. With the +1 range damage from General Sloan combined with the new cards, it is possible to overpower opponents with a barrage of range attacks.

Dragon Earth on the one hand is one deck am testing. Due to the debuffs that Quix offers, being faster and mitigating damage allows me to use the new Earth Cards. With it being a Legendary Summoner it allows/will allow me to use higher BCX versions of the earth cards.

As of this writing, the strategy is working for me at the lower leagues. Have significantly increased my CP and the new cards may allow me to go through quests without renting. Though I must say that it really is unclear yet on how Chaos Legion will shake things up.

As days pass, expect new decks and archetypes to be formulated by players. As of now, am just enjoying my self with the new cards and starter cards.
