Shopping For Cards on Splinterlands with Travelgirl
Hi Everyone,
It has been some time since my last Splinterlands post. With the Australia Day long weekend and Chinese New Year on the same weekend, I thought I would give myself a small limit and splurge on some cards. This week I bought a variety of cards but the two that I really like to use in my matches are Furious Chicken & Dragon Jumper.
Let's check out Dragon Jumper. Normally this card would go for above $7 but the other day I saw someone selling two of them at $5.80. Without hesitation, I bought both of them at $5.80 with the DEC I have earned from playing Splinterlands daily. A total of $11.60 was paid by DEC which was a nice buy. I already have one Dragon Jumper and is one of my favourite cards when I use the dragon splinter and have two of them mean I can level it to a level 2 card with the extra Snear ability. As of now, I have yet to combine them as yet.
The other card I was excited to purchase was the Furious Chicken but in the gold. Furious Chicken is one card I use ALOT, I mean ALOT so it would make sense to buy the gold card to get bonus DEC for each winning game. Normally I see them around $3 but today I saw them under $2.50 so again, I bought 1 using the DEC I have earned playing the game. At $2.37, the card is so worth the price and I am certain I can make that back with the extra % of DEC I earn for each winning game in a short period of time.

I didn't know you can merge cards.
I've that furious chicken before.
you can combine cards to make your deck more powerful and move up the league
but first thing first is upgrade your summoner first .... if you other cards are powerful and the summoner still on level one, no use
OK, maybe have to spend time later end of Feb to figure this.

Goid read. I do not caed shop much and have only ever purchased one card to be able to play the dragon splinter. I need to upgrade my master cards.

I do like the Chicken but unlike any other card feel he's at his most versatile at Level 1. He's not considered a Melee monster and evades some of the rule sets for the higher levels.
Players cannot use Melee monsters springs to mind
The Gold one can't be Level One, so I'm at a loss to see why this version is so popular, unless its simply for DEC farming.
Its more to slot into the empty slots for me. And yes having the gold card there does boost up my DEC rewards if I win that round. Not sure if that is considered farming as I can't use that card in all my matches.
Though my chicken's attack have saved me a few times so it does work when it comes to the crucial moments
