Slow & Steady Wins The Race on Splinterlands

Hi Everyone,

I have to admit, these couple of weeks have been challenging in my personal life. My firstborn going to kindy, then we have been told we have to find a place to move as the current owners want to renovate the whole place and work has been really hectic since coming back from the new year holiday. We had embargo for over 3 weeks and we are still trying to clear the backlog. Nothing seemed to be on track except for Splinterlands. No joke! Just over 5 days left till the season finishes, I am on Diamond 3.

As @mattclarke said to me once, slow and steady wins the race on Splinterlands. I think this is true. I haven't really played too much, I haven't used up my daily energy capture to play every day. I just play whenever I have time and try to finish my daily missions. Have the game on the mobile app was the best thing ever so I can just play while I'm waiting for the bus, in line for lunch or even while cooking. I find this strategy doing everything slowly lets me slowly move up the rank. A game here and there and slowly accumulating DECs which adds up over the days. I don't feel like I need to sit down over an hour to play, I can now play when I want to without sitting in front of the laptop. This is what I mean by slow and steady wins the race. Have you changed your way of playing since the mobile app came out?
