Share Your Battle! Dragons. Suppressing The Titan

Prelude
Hello everybody, it's time again for Share Your Battle and we're back on sharing battles on Dragon. And this time round, I am going to share the battle based on the receiving end and also sharing some analysis on Carnage Titan, a card that send chills down my spine whenever I face it.

Thoughts on Carnage Titan

This is the image that comes to my mind when I look at any Dragon card.

I grew up watching Dragon Ball. Whenever Dragon appears, it always appear in overwhelming fashion. Just like when Shenron is being summoned by gathering 7 Dragon Balls, the sky darkens and all eyes on it, admiring its awe. As mentioned let's look into Carnage Titan for this particular post.

Let's examine the base stats of Lvl 1 Carnage Titan.

Bronze League - NA
Silver League - Attack + 1,
Gold League - Shield
Beyond Gold - Attack +1

Look at the stats and the abilities, Carnage Titan is a beast. Reach means Titan can be secondary tank and what's more, it is a secondary tank that hits hard. As it further levels up, it toughens with shield.

Titan possess double strike like Silvershield Assassin, high armour and high health. Fronting such a card really brings headache and I faced it during my most recent brawl.

Disintegrator	7	2nd	High mana cost fight and I am expecting some melee assault, so put in Disintegrator with demoralize to sustain longer.
Time Mage	4	3rd	Alternate attack method through magic damage
Sola Ranjell	3	4th	Testing out my legendary Gladius card which give tank heal to help sustain front line longer
Pelacor Arbalest	6	5th	Damage dealer with double strike
Supply Runner	6	6th	Another damage dealer and to provide protection to Arbalest
Total Mana:	36

Opponent Lineup

• Summoner - Quix The Devious
• Position 1 - Desert Dragon
• Position 2 - Carnage Titan
• Position 3 - Disintegrator
• Position 4 - Life Sapper
• Position 5 - Zyvax Vuul
• Position 6 - Magi Necrosi

Prediction before pressing rumble
For a match of 60 mana requirement and seeing opponent picking Quix as summoner, I know I am in for a ride because Dragons excel best in high mana cost matches and have an array of abilities at their disposal. On my end, I picked whatever I had but only manage to fill up 36 mana out of 60. Odds are definitely stacked against me. Seeing Desert Dragon, Carnage Titan and Zyvax Vuul in opponent lineup, is like a last nail to the coffin.

How will the fight turn out? There is only one way to find out.

Let's get ready to rumble
Round 1, Chaos Knight taking the onslaught, but with Sola, heals Knight back to health and Desert Dragon on opponent side is taken out. One special note, Carnage Titan did 0 damage! Chaos Knight + Disintegrator totally suppressed it.

Round 2, Titan continues to do 0 damage, Zyvax Vuul's charged attack blocked off by Chaos Knight armour. My archer backline shaving off all armour on Titan but Time mage gets taken out by Magi Necrosi.

Round 3, With my combo in-tact, Titan is still doing 0 damage and gets taken out by my backline. 2 of the Dragons down. Game on!

Round 4, Chaos Knight did the job and finally falls in glory.

Round 5, Life Sapper falls victim to my backline and we are down to the last 2 card on opponent lineup. Sola Ranjell also falls after furiously healing my tank for the past few rounds.

Round 6, Arbalest falls after shaving doing Zyvax Vuul health to 2 and we are threading towards victory.

Round 7, Zyvax Vuul falls and we are with Magi Necrosi to take care.

Round 8, Victory secured, Magi Necrosi falls.

After Thoughts
Wow! I suppressed my most feared Dragon Splinter, Carnage Titan. This win was totally unexpected especially knowing how many possibilities that Dragon lineup can bring.

Further thoughts is that on a Dragon lineup, if able to consider more varied attack mode, it will cover all angles from opponent.

Looking at the Chaos Legion Dragon options alone, all 3 forms of attack are covered. Don't forget, as they level up, they also get crazier abilities as well.

Everyone of them looks really awesome and worth to be added to anyone's collection. Who knows, maybe the next time we have Share Your Battle, instead of being on the receiving end of Dragons, I might have some of them to showcase and share on my selection.

As we go up the leagues, high mana battles will be more frequent. Having Dragons with Dragon Summoners will bring a completely new dimension to things.
