Share Your Battle: Mycelic Slipspawn

Hello everybody, it's time again for Share Your Battle. This week card of focus is something that I frequently use whenever I have sufficient mana for Earth Splinter. It is the Mycelic Slipspawn, so let's get on with the sharing.

Thoughts on Mycelic Slipspawn

I cannot make do with what Myclic Slipspawn exactly is. In a way, it look like some shroom spirit with a net base. Nevertheless, this is a good creature.

Without further a do, let's get started with this week's sharing.
Let's look at the Level 1 base stats for Mycelic Slipspawn:

What does Mycelic Slipspwan looking on growth?
The base of of Mycelic Slipspawn is already rather impressive. High health and taunt. As it grows, it becomes real scary with forcefield which allow it to suppress big magic attack and it is really very good thing to have for taunt. Lastly it gain slow, which is also another viable ability to gain.

Prediction before pressing rumble
Very very similar lineup with multiple similar choices picked. I am a little afraid of Unicorn Mustang especially it really take reduced damage from magic attack.

Let's get ready to rumble
Round 1, Opponent Slipspawn taken out, mine survived. Woohoo! Protect from Queen Mycelia proved important to keep it alive.

Round 2, Now my Slipspawn get taken out. Everything else survived.

Round 3, Opponent Infantry and Goblin Psychic taken out. Now I am directly facing Mustang.

Round 4, And now, my Infantry get taken out. Unicorn Mustang down to 1 health.

Round 5, We pick up the scraps and secure the victory.

After Thoughts
Good win, with key paying to attention of the ruleset. Other than Slipspawn, all of my chosen cards are 1 speed which opponent have 2 high speed cards in Mustang and Regnal Peryton.

The taunt in Slipspawn is actually a very important ability. It takes away all the front load damage and provide longer survivability of the front tank. It will be even more awesome if there is opportunity to place Spirit Hoarder in front of it to give triage.

One tip to share: never put taunt cards in the middle especially when in blast matches. When placed in the middle, there will blast towards post side of the lineup, self destructing.

Did my strategy work in this game? Yes it did and it very well, serving to the purpose of soaking damage from front line tanks. .

Will I be using Mycelic Slipspwan in the future, for sure I will as this card has so much potential. Do grab a copy and start building it up, else please make sure you may have to rent it consistently.
