New Season
Last season wasn't too good. The CP growth wasn't optimal and a little slow. But fret not, as some of my metafrens always "the law of averages". This season bad, does not mean every season bad. We will see the Legendary and Gold Foils soon!

The season start, less of the Mylor lineups which I am really thankful for me to run my favourite Lorna Melee Lineup, very effective against lineups which are very dependent on backline such as life range, earth magic, blue magic and fire sneak.

Example of battles which Lorna Melee does well:

So far this season, "life and death" splinters have done me well and I hope there will be more opportunities to work on improving my gameplay on the other splinters.

Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
This is my favourite section where I share about how different is this from other mobile games. Something I also realised recently is the significant reduction in time spent on grinding.

I am not a play2win kind of player, hence in order for me to have sufficient resources in mobile gaming, I have to spend long durations to send gatherers to collect resources, kill NPC to gain items and also time my "energy recovery" or gathering time to maximize gains.

On Splinterlands, it is different, you control your timing. Busy or inconvenient to play, then play when convenient. As long you do your daily quest of 3/5 matches (probably 15min to 30mins of gameplay), your are effectively done. for the day unless you want to try and play for more DEC. Imagine saving gameplay timing from 3-4 hours daily to 30min? Isn't that something amazing? If you've not started playing Splinterlands, what are you waiting for?
