Hi everyone, Welcome to my post regarding the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" Challenge. For this week's challenge, I'll be sharing my battles against enemies focused on Magic Monsters (using Alric Stormbringer as his Summoner). But before going to the main discussion.........

The rule for this time is AIM TRUE with 46 mana. AIM TRUE is a situation where Melee and Ranged attacks always hit their target. The abilities that are very suitable for this Ruleset are Double-Strike and Blast. And lucky me because at that time my daily Focus was LIFE SPLINTER. There are several monsters that have this ability, even in the CHAOS LEGION edition.

My Line-Up

CardsAbilityReason
Reduce 1 Attack Point to All Enemies Range Monster
Give 3 Additional ARMOR to All Allies
The reason I chose The Peakrider even though my opponent was focused on Magic was the possibility of the opponent bringing 1 or 2 Melee or Ranged-type monsters to the Battle Arena.
Void (Lv1)The use of Clay Golem in this battle is of course to block attacks from Magic Monsters on the opposing side. With the VOID he has, he can reduce the impact of the attack caused by the opponent's Magic monster to the Clay Golem.
Silence (Lv1)In order to minimize the damage taken by Clay Golem, I brought a Crystal Werewolf who has the SILENCE ability which reduces 1 Attack Point from the enemy's Magic Monster.
Tank Heal (Lv2)Even though it has been helped by using SILENCE, sometimes Clay Golem still takes damage from Magic Monster attacks. That's why I decided to bring Venari Crystalsmith who has a HEAL TANK to heal the monsters in first place (Clay Golem)
Tank Heal (Lv1)Not only did I bring 1 Monster that had the TANK HEAL Ability, but I brought 2 at once so that (at least) Clay Golem's Health Points are in full condition every round.
Double-Strike (Lv1)One of the Monsters from Life Splinter that has DOUBLE-STRIKE. Although there is another monster in LIFE SPLINTER that has the same ability (Silvershield Assassin), I prefer him because my goal is to focus all attacks on one Monster.
Blast (Lv2)With the BLAST that Prismologist has, the damage from the attack she launches doesn't only affect the 1 Monster she attacks but also the monsters around it.

BATTLE START !!!

image.png

The opponent still uses Alric Stormbringer (Give additional 1 Attack Point to All Allies Magic Monster) as he did in the previous 5 battles. and only brings 1 Melee monster that has quite a lot of ARMOR.

After all abilities are applied.....

image.png

Alric Stormbringer's Ability gives additional 1 Attack point to all opposing Magic Monsters. There are no additional abilities from enemy monsters.

The Peakrider's gives additional 3 ARMOR to all my Monsters and a reduction of 1 Attack point to the opponent's Ranged Monster (but this is useless because the opponent doesn't bring any Ranged Monster to the Battle Arena). Additional abilities from monsters in the form of reducing 1 Attack Point to all Magic Monsters belonging to the opponent by Crystal Werewolf.

image.png

In round 1, all my monsters (Clay Golem, Venari Crystalsmith, Pelacor Arbalest, and Prismologist) managed to land their attacks on Diemonshark. And now Diemonshark only survives with 3 Health Points it has. The impact of the attack from Prismologist on Diemonshark regarding Djinn Oshannus.

On the other side, Diemonshark managed to destroy 2 ARMOR belonging to Clay Golem (and now only 1 left). followed by Djinn Oshannus and Ruler of the Sea who directly attacked the Health Point of Clay Golem (Crystal Werewolf was affected by the attack from Ruler of the Sea) but was eventually healed by Venari Crystalsmith.

The attack was continued by Sea Genie and Nerissa Tridawn (the attack from Medusa had no effect on Clay Golem) but was healed again by Divine Healer.

image.png

In round 2, the opponent's attacks are no different from those in round 1. the only difference is that this time Clay Golem lost all of the ARMOR he had due to an attack from Diemonshark .

When it was my turn, I managed to defeat Diemonshark thanks to the attack from Venari Crystalsmith and Prismologist. Djinn Oshannus was also defeated at the end of this round thanks to an attack by Pelacor Arbalest and Clay Golem (As well as the damage he received from the BLAST ability)

image.png

Because the opponent has lost Diemonshark and Djinn Oshannus, their attack count is also reduced in round 3. This time the amount of damage received by Clay Golem is equal to the number of Health Points that have been healed.

And when it was my turn, I managed to defeat 2 more opposing monsters in almost the same way as round 2. Where Sea Genie was attacked by Venari Crystalsmith and Prismologist (but this time it was the first attack from Pelaccor Arbalest that defeated him), while the second attack from Pelaccor Arbalest leads to Ruler of the Seas and ends with Clay Golem's attack which defeats Ruler of the Seas.

image.png

Medusa was defeated in round 4 thanks to an attack from Venari Crystalsmith and Prismologist. Meanwhile Nerissa Tridawn can only be defeated at the beginning of round 5 because the number of Health Points she has is greater than the total attack of all my monsters,

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)

Yes, my strategy is working pretty well. lucky i chose the right summoner and monster this time. If I had chosen the wrong summoner or monster the result would have been a little different.

For example: If you don't use The Peakrider which is able to provide additional ARMOR, maybe Clay Golem is in a quite dangerous condition because the attack from Diemonshark will immediately regarding health points.

The strategy for the future is maybe I will try to rent The Peakrider which has a higher level so that I can use other abilities from the monsters.

Do you like this Ruleset?

After this battle, I like this Ruleset a bit, especially when dealing with opponents who often focus on Magic Monsters. Because we don't need to be afraid that our attacks will miss even if the monsters we have have a low SPEED or when we are dealing with monsters that have abilities such as FLYING and Dodge.

image.png

That was my battle against Magic formation in AIM TRUE Ruleset, no formation is perfect, everyone has their own weaknesses. Either because of Ruleset, knowledge of the cards to be played, or purely because of luck.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to read. See you in the next post....
