Hi everyone, Welcome to my post regarding the "SHARE YOUR BATTLE" Challenge. This time I share my battle in Focus : Earth using Mylor Crowling as the Summoner.

As a reminder, this post is not only focused on explaining about Mylor Crowling, but the entire Earth Splinter itself.

THE BATTLE I WON

1st Battle (Win Against Double-Weaken)

Ruleset

image.png

Heavy Hitters : All Monsters have the Knock Out ability.

The reason I chose Earth Splinter this time was because the last 5 battles of the opponent were more dominant using Death Splinter and there were quite a few Magic Monsters there.

My Earth Splinter have several monsters that can minimize the opponent's Magic attacks, and if I add the ability of Mylor Crowling then my Earth Splinter can also do damage to Melee monsters. will be brought by the opponent to the Battle Arena.

My Monster Line-Up

CardsAbilityReason
Void (Lv1)I prefer to use the Unicorn Mustang in the first position because it has above average SPEED. Another reason is that VOID is more effective at dealing with a large amount of deep Magic Monster attacks than using REFLECT.
Reflect (Lv1)Minotaur Warlord is in second position to replace Unicorn Mustang facing the Magic monster when it has been defeated.
Protect (Lv1)Adds 2 additional ARMOR to all my monsters so attacks from Melee or Ranged Monsters don't directly hit Health Points.
Tank Heal (Lv1)Heals the Monsters in the first position so they can last longer against the opponent's attacks, especially their Magic Monsters.
Silence (Lv1)Reduces 1 Attack point of the opponent's Magic Monster so that the damage received by the Monster in the front position is not too large.
Tank Heal (Lv1)Just like Goblin Psychic.

The opponent uses Thaddius Brood as a summoner and adds Undead Priest (Weaken). This combination really gets me into some trouble in some battles, especially if I'm in NOXIOUS FUMES.

In this battle I only brought 2 Monsters with Health Points of 10, while the others only had Health points of 5.

image.png

I lost most of my Magic Monsters due to Double-Weaken. Wood Nymph was defeated by Silent Sha-vi while Twisted Jester managed to defeat 2 other Magic Monsters (Queen Mycelia and Goblin Psychic).

Before being defeated, 2 of my Tank Heal Monsters had time to heal Unicorn Mustang (So the Health Points are not in a crisis condition). And I was lucky enough because I put Mushroom Seer in the right position (if wrong position, then the opponent's Magic Monster will attack with full power.)

I won the battle with the Unicorn Mustang still standing at the front.

2nd Battle

Ruleset

image.png

Explosive Weaponry : All Monsters have the Blast ability.

The reason I chose Earth Splinter is because there is a Grund that has a DOUBLE-STRIKE ability that fits perfectly in this Ruleset. Earth Splinter also has TAUNT Monsters (Mycelic Slipspawn) so that the opponent's Monster attacks only focus on him even though the monster has abilities such as SNIPE, OPPORTUNITY, or SNEAK.

My Monster Line-Up

CardsAbilityReason
Double-Strike (Lv1)Very suitable for use in EXPLOSIVE WEAPONRY Ruleset because it can give a BLAST effect 2 times thanks to its abilities (if 2 attacks hit the opponent successfully)
Silence (Lv1)Magic Monsters that have more than 1 Attack point that are successfully rented.
Protect (Lv1)Adds 2 ARMOR to all my monsters so attacks from Melee or Ranged Monsters don't directly hit Health Points.
Tank Heal(Lv1)In addition to healing the Monster in first place, Goblin Psychic also has more than 1 Attack point (same as Mushroom Seer)
Reflect (Lv1)only serves as an attack receiver from the BLAST effect because the opponent's attack is forced to aim at Mycelic Slipspawn.
Taunt (Lv1)Tasked with diverting the opponent's attack to be aimed at him. Mycelic Slipspawn has more than 1 Attack point and high Health Point to support this.

The opponent uses Tarsa (only for Melee monsters) as his summoner, but the Monsters he carries are mostly Ranged Monsters.

image.png

Chain Golem I managed to defeat even before round 1 ended, while the attacks from the other opposing Monsters all aimed at Mycelic Slipspawn.

Thanks to Grund, I was able to defeat Cornealus quickly.

THE BATTLES I FAILED TO WIN

image.png

image.png

>>> FULL BATTLE LINK <<<

The reasons for my defeat in this battle were:

  1. I didn't expect the opponent to have Magic monsters in his Fire Splinter. Because in the last 5 battles, he didn't use Magic Monster when he used Fire Splinter.

  2. I use Monsters with high Health points.

  3. Not using Mushroom Seer

  4. Not using a Monster that specifically reduces attacks from Magic Monsters (VOID, VOID ARMOR, or REFLECT)

  5. the answer to reason no.2-4 is in reason no.1. I'm too confident if the opponent doesn't have magic monsters.

The reason for my defeat in this battle:

  1. The health points of most of my monsters are very small, while the Health points of the opponent's are larger.

  2. Only rely on THORNS

  3. The opponent uses INSPIRE so that the damage that my monster receives increases more than the THORNS effect that the opponent receives

  4. there are 2 Self Heal Monsters on the opponent's side.

STRATEGY (Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?)

In the "THE BATTLES I FAILED TO WIN" section, I only use strategies based on the opponent's last 5 battles. And I'm not careful and don't look carefully if in the last 5 battles, the opponent has used a summoner with a higher level. Compared to my summoner who is still level 1, of course I have a lot of gaps to beat.

For the next strategy, I'll probably try to rent a card with a higher level and look for a Monster that has a lot of Health.

Do you like Earth Splinter?

Earth Splinter is pretty good when used at low Mana (30 or less). Meanwhile, if used in high Mana, you need a Monster with high Mana that comes from NEUTRAL CARDS.

Some Magic Monsters in Earth Splinter have low Health Points when they are level 1, therefore I will rent a card that has a higher level if I want to Survive from monster attacks that have a high Attack Point.

That was my explanation in SHARE YOUR BATTLE this time. In some of the battles that I presented earlier, at least I got a new lesson that could be useful in the future.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to read. See you in the next post....
