One more week in this addictive game from @splinterlands, in which the new league changes have been applied and we are all frantically fighting to rise in power and rating to aspire to the long-awaited rewards as a result of hard effort.

In this all-out fight, we are presented with the challenge of the week: Employ the monster FLESH GOLEM based on a strategy that leads us to a great battle. This monster lives in the land of Anumün, where it usually drinks from the waters of the famous River of Power in order to cultivate the ability to regenerate and obtain the enormous strength equivalent to that of a hundred men of our common race.

FLESH GOLEM is a card of the element LIFE, which with 6 mana points is ideal for use as a tank in various battles. The card starts at level 1 with 2 Melee attacks and progresses to 4 attacks at level 10, as well as 11 lives and 3 speed, combined with the abilities of Heal and void make it ideal for containing and dealing considerable damage to enemy forces.

I am pleased to share with you the battle corresponding to the Target Practice|Rise of the Commons rule set.

Mana limit: 38

League: Diamond

Separador_Flesh_Golem.png

For this battle I used the summoner KRETCH TALLEVOR at level 6 to access the monsters of the DRAGON and LIFE elements, apart from having the option to combine them with the neutral monsters.

Description of my team

Flesh Golem.png

First I placed Flesh Golem , a tank that I usually use in this element due to its low mana, high health and its heal ability at level 4 in which I have scaled it.

It is important to highlight its power in attack with +3 making it ideal to give a heroic resistance as it happened in this battle where it was the only survivor and eliminating Stone Golem and Sam Worm in the final rounds.

Centauri Mage.png

As a squire the great golden Centauri Mage and with the ability to Return Fire to kill some of the opponent's lives.

Her performance was remarkable in the seven rounds she was in action before falling to the power of Sam Worm as a brave and untamed warrior.

Mushroom Seer.png

For the third place, I placed the rare monster from the reward series Mushroom Seer , to reduce the enemy's magic attacks and lessen the losses of allied fighters.

Its low health makes up for it with its +2 in attack and well placed it resists several rounds while helping more than the aspirations of victory. It is important to note that from level 5 it has a powerful ability such as poison to cause an additional -2 at the end of each round to the enemies that received that damage.

Wood Nymph.png

In fourth place I have placed the beautiful and useful common card Wood Nymph , essential to renew the health of the allied tank and provide +1 magic attack for the cause of the team.

It was in combat for 4 rounds before being destroyed by the powerful neutral monster Sam Worm . It was very important to the sustainability of our star Flesh Golem when all the cards were up for grabs.

Javelin Thrower.png

In the penultimate box it seemed appropriate to place Javelin Thrower , given its speed and +2 in ranged attack and the ability pierce make it ideal for this battle.

It was until the third round where it fell to the predator Sam Worm. If I had had it at level 5 where it has the ability of dodge , perhaps it would have resisted a little more according to the law of probabilities.

Separador_Flesh_Golem.png

Stonesplitter Orc.png

In the rear I considered it appropriate to place Stonesplitter Orc , given his ability to retaliate and thinking of containing the sneaky Melee attacks of the enemies. His +4 and a shield indicated that the choice was correct.

In my analysis I did not consider ranged attacks, which eliminated this great rare monster in the first few rounds.

Conclusion

  • The victory achieved in this battle was highly suffered and not suitable for people with heart disease. Seeing how Sam Worm eliminated my monsters was as Juanes says a religious experience where I needed a lot of faith and hope.
  • The 10 rounds indicate that the battle was bloody, with a lot of blood spilled from both sides, which proposed a strategy according to where perhaps the time where Stonesplitter Orc dodges Sam Worm was decisive in achieving victory .
  • Each weekly challenge is also an invitation to develop all our creative force for in-game strategy and the right discourse to narrate our battle before a critical audience willing to help improve every day at @splinterlands and as editors at @ hive.

That's a real cool Battle Challenge post. The self-made dividers don't work with the dark mode though, because they are JPGs with white background.

Thank you very much for your comment because I had not noticed that detail, for the next ones I must put a transparent background on the dividers to achieve harmony with the dark view mode.
