The Beginning of the Battle

My Team

Pos#MonsterLevelAbility
1Grum Flameblade★2Bloodrust, Void Armor, Void
2Legionnaire Alvar★2Void Armor, Giant Killer
3Disintegrator★4Demoralize
4Desert Dragon★2Trample, Piercing
5Chaos Dragon★2Flying, Scattershot, Blast
6Djinn Chwala★2Thorns

The Strategy

  1. Grum Flameblade (★2, Bloodrust, Void Armor, Void) at 1st
-> Earth element (strong magic team) was available, and most of the magic-attackers don't have Sneak. So, I placed Grum Flameblade at the front.

  2. Legionnaire Alvar (★2, Void Armor, Giant Killer) at 2nd
-> It was a high-mana battle (mana cap: 99), so I thought Leginnaire Alvar's Giant Killer may be powerful.

  3. Disintegrator (★4, Demoralize) at 3rd
-> Because Life element was unavailable, I had no worries about strong ranged-attacks.
Grum Flameblade is one of the best monsters for protecting against strong magic-attacks.
The only concern was powerful melee-attacks, so I thought Disintegrator's Demoralize can be helpful.

  4. Desert Dragon (★2, Trample, Piercing) at 4th
-> One of the ruleset was Melee Mayhem (Melee attack from anywhere), and water element was available (Kelya Frendul, +1 armor and +1 speed), so Desert Dragon's Piercing and Trample would be dominant.

  5. Chaos Dragon (★2, Flying, Scattershot, Blast) at 5th
-> Chaos Dragon is one of the best monsters for eliminating low-health back-line monsters.

  6. Djinn Chwala (★2, Thorns) at 6th
-> Because Fire and water element was available, I placed Djinn Chwala at the back as a trap for protecting against sneak-attacks.

The Battle

The Results

It really worked! Chaos Dragon eliminated Feasting Seaweed at 1st round.
At round 2, Desert Dragon damaged Sea Monster (Health:7, Armor:1 -> Health:3, Armor:0), and Legionnaire Alvar could finish him off. I am definitely going to use the dragons more.

My Thoughts on Dragons

I love Dragon monsters. I mostly play in the silver league. I currently possess four Level 2 Chaos Legion Dragons (Chaos Dragon, Desert Dragon, Void Dragon, and Zyvax Vuul). They all have flying ability, so I use them very often in Earthquake battles.

I usually choose Chaos Dragon (★2, Flying, Scattershot, Blast) if Taunt monster frequently appeared in the opponent's recent 5 matches.

I usually choose Desert Dragon (★2, Trample, Piercing) in Stampede (The Trample ability can trigger multiple times per attack if the trampled Monster is killed) battles.

I usually choose Void Dragon (★2, Flying, Void) if the opponent didn't usually choose melee team in the recent 5 matches because Void Dragon has high speed, Flying and Void.

I usually choose Zyvax Vuul (★2, Flying, Recharge, Close Range) in high-mana and Unprotected (Monsters do not have any armor and do not get armor from Abilities or Summoner Buffs) battles.
